OK girls I apologize. I got up this morning, saw the post count and said they did it again! Then I saw the real culprit ..... John. What a nut! I read them all.

Someone was saying a few days ago about becoming the largest thread on the board. If each of us took a night and did what John did last night ....... naw we'd better not.

RealMickey, do you happen to work for the paper in Montgomery? My brother's first job after college was for the Alabama Journal.

Yes, I work for the paper here...as a matter of fact I worked for the Journal before it was incorporated into the Advertiser. So if your brother worked for the Journal after 86, I would have worked with him!

I have a frustrating problem with this computer. Something in it's setup will not let me click on a smiley and insert it into my message. If I type the code in for the smiley it will show. I had printed out the codes before I moved but can't find it now.

I like to use smileys (even the banana). Any suggestions?

Brack,

Some of the smiles, you can "hover" your mouse over, and it will show the code - others just say smiles. I bet there is a list of the codes somewhere on here.

He graduated from college in 86 and went right to work at the Journal in sports. He'll be on the cruise, too. I think a few of his college friends worked there too for a bit.

Amy, I have been reading everything from last night...afterall...we all said that we were turning in for the night & there was noone left...wouldn't they be happy not to wake up to 200 posts. I just read this to DS...who is now wondering what is wrong with him mommy because she is sitting here laughing so hard that she is crying.

John...regarding the bedazzler...remember the dress thread where someone from the west bound repo talked about the sleezy dressing girl who had something on her rear in stones. They were all trying to guess what it had said. That's where we got the idea to do the jean & bedazzler thing.

Well, DS is rather annoyed with me right now since I told him that he could play on the computer but I had to read the 5 pages of posts that I saw this morning. It really was alot of fun in chat last night...glad to have you join in too, Brack!

I can't believe what I woke up to here. John I really expected better from you. You are just as crazy as the rest of us now.

Chat was fun last night but it sounds like those of us who go to bed early (you know around midnight) missed all the real fun.

Elizabeth - Welcome to our little group! I feel I must warn you that not all members our our little tribe are completely sane. I think we were all fairly normal before we started posting here but after a while things start to go wrong with your head and before you know it you are talking to yourself late at night on a discussion board.

John - The really important part about the tiaras is that the men must be the ones wearing them. My idea was that if all the other cruisers saw a large army of lime green people and the men were wearing tiaras they would start to get concerned and might be so frightened that they would decide not to cruise at all and leave the ship to us! We expect the men to take up this duty without complaint. Be a real man and wear the princess tiara.

Since we will be having a group bedazzling prior to formal night I think we all have an assignment to decide what words we want bedazzled on our derrieres. There will probably not be time to decide on formal night so we must come prepared. It is our job as overplanners and DISsers to make this as efficient as possible. I want to hear some ideas!!!!

Your DW does not have to wear the tiara....just you! We need to go for maximum effectiveness and really scare the other cruisers into deciding they do not want to get on the ship with people like us.

Tell your DW that having a dress that can make people disappear is surely some kind of superpower. Does she fight crime in her spare time?

1. Do you or does any member of your family have red hair?
2. Does anyone in your family have a BA in Journalism?
3. Does your husband think you have joined a cult or are you hiding this from him?
4. Will any male in your family wear lime green or a Tiara?
