Patsy, glad to here DH found a kitty. That will help DD. Our kitty is an old, old man and I worry that he will be gone soon. He too is a very sweet guy and just exists to love us and be petted.

I need to finish bagging up all the grass that I cut last weekend and then water the lawns this weekend. Our temperature is supposed to be in the 90s over the weekend and we have been over a week with no :umbrella:

We have about 1/2 acre of lawn, and the automatic sprinklers have never worked, so it takes a lot of moving the hose to get the thing watered. :sad2:

Oh Angie! We had a backup only once too! And it was on Christmas when everyone was over (25+)! :eek:

No one could use the bathroom! And we had to wait until the next day for someone to come out and look at it. Funny too, because when the guy showed DH where the drain goes by the lid, etc, DH unclogged it while the man was in giving me an estimate! Well there went the estimate!! :rolleyes:

We had a NASTY thunderstorm here early in the am! DD3 is terrified of thunder. She has always been afraid of fireworks. When I took her to the beach one year for them she refused to watch. During the show in the MK, she started to freak so luckily we were right by SmallWorld. DH took her in.

An interesting fact: SM lasts as long as the fireworks!

Anyhow, we have quite a bad leak in the DR since the addition. It was a hard rain and the water was kinda pouring in! :faint:

DH says he will get it looked at ASAP, but I doubt it highly! He hasn't even looked at where there is a leak from the condensation from the AC since he has been home! :furious:
