OK I had to ask DH if he remembered why we use Fred and George. He reminded me that the George is from the old Bugs Bunny cartoon when Marvin The Martian steals Bugs to make him the new friend for the abominable snowman.

Bugs Bunny is abducted by Marvin the Martian and brought to Mars to be the companion to his pet abominable snowman Hugo, who will "hug him and squeeze him and call him George."


The Fred thing we can't remember...it was just a generic name that went well with George.

I am terrified of anyone messing with my eyes but I finally did lasik jan 2004. I wish I would have done it earlier. I can see without any problem. I went & had an eye test yesterday and the doc said I am a little near sighted which may prevent me from ever needing reading glasses. I decided to do it after our 1st cruise. we went snorkeling & I couldn't see the fish. I am unable to wear contacts because of allergies. you really should consider it. the recovery was not bad at all.

It is the most wonderful feeling to wake up to that first morning!

Well, I log into disneycruise.com every morning as soon as I get to work and check, and I literally had it sitting on an open browser window on my desktop... went to a meeting and came back... chatted with DH on the phone and then said well I have to get back to work now and hung up. Then for the heck of it, I refreshed the disneycruise window and logged in again, and lo and behold, the stateroom # changed before my very eyes! I actually screamed at work. Then I called DH back. It was a very exciting morning because he had just called me to tell me about his commission check that he just received (which was a very good one!).

That is so exciting!!! Awesome!

Good Morning Everyone!

This morning is by far much better than the last 3. I am finally starting to feel a lot better. I still have a sore throat and some fatigue but boy does it feel good knowing I should be 100% better soon! I might be able to save most of my pre-cruise plans!

I decided to punt my work decision to my boss. I called and left him a voicemail and told him that I didn't think anyone wanted me there until after my 24 hours but that I could possibly come in for a couple of hours this afternoon if they wanted me to. I told him to call me back and let me know. I will be suprised if he doesn't just tell me to take off the rest of the day as well - no one else wants to risk me still being contagious at 25 hours. Then I can go to my hair appt. this afternoon without a whole lot of guilt I believe. The hair appt. should not be too stressful and I will be past the 24 hour mark so I should not be contagious to anyone working there. Plus I will get a chance to rest a little bit longer before the expected ice storm that is headed our way tonight.

We had a group rate from DU and I got those directly from DCL. It is the room I added that hasn't come yet.

About those Deck 4 chairs...I would love to join you but I figure the kids will keep running away. Do you think we could block two ends with several of those large chairs and just let the kids run around between them while we all laugh, chat and nap?

I just got one for $5 for my DH. I only got it for him because it had "The Christmas Story" on the front.
