It took about 10 min!!!!

My CD is working now. I think it I was getting too pushy. It was still downloading my song.

the ipod has a little orange light lite. That means it is still charging right? So I can't take it off until it is done. When it turns green will all of my new songs be on it?

Brandi,

The light is just for the battery - it does not mean anything for the songs. Orange is charging, green is fully charged. You can unplug before fully charged. It will show on iTunes when your songs are in the iPod - it will say "iPod update complete". Make sure you eject the iPod in iTunes before unplugging it from the cable though . . .

Your new songs will not be on it if it has been constantly plugged in until you select update iPod. This also happens every time you plug your iPod into your computer for the first time after having it unplugged.

This info should also be in the user booklet that came with your iPod.

thanks. I actually got her full report and everything was tops the only thing noted on there was how many words she says. The issue isn't her speech as unable to understand but how many words she actually uses during the day. I called her ped just to ease my mind and he is overly fine with her. I know the preschool teachers spend more time with her, but I fully trust the girls dr and he has always said not to rush anything and he will let me know when and if he has a concern. So I feel a bit better, and actually most of the other kids in her class don't say much either:)

I am glad it's Friday. Not sure if I'll be around for chat. I am beat this week and I would like to start getting the house in order for Thanksgiving.

Vanessa, when you say just the number of words she says that reminded me of our second DD (she was/is our challenging one!). Her kindergarden teacher told me that she "tried to get DD to make at least one full sentence each day". I was :confused3 because we called her motor mouth at home because she never stopped talking. We had her in home daycare with a friend and she was the one who nick named her motor mouth. So, it was just that she was not comfortable in the school setting, nothing to do with her ability to form sentences or lack of vocabulary. She did manage to become "very social" (always loved that term used by teachers meaning they need to shut up once in a while and listen!) by the middle of kindergarden.

John – No “Price is Right” around here. I think Aaron loves his new camera more than me and the kids combined. He spent hours last night playing around with it. He seems really happy with is so far.
Big boy toy. :rolleyes1 Just like little boys only WAY more expensive! :sad2:

Someone is a Bill Cosby fan...
Watched it, :thumbsup2 but this story was told by our generation to our kids, and by our parents generation to us WAY before Bill brought it to TV. ;) Of course it is completely true for DrHug (lived in Montana half the time growing up) and for me (Colorado thru Jr High). That snow was deep and the mountains steep - both ways! :lmao: :rotfl2:

They did not send a booklet. They only sent a teeny tiny "quick start" pamphlet. I guess you have to download the booklet.

Patsy- I am listening to a song for you..."Devil Went Down to Georgia." :rotfl: :lmao:

We ordered the Jack Sparrow costume that was on sale for $60 on Disney Shopping for DH this morning. He is going to take some of the pieces from it and add some of his own to make his own pirate costume. pirate: While I was there I of course had to buy a few more items as well. They had a lot of their holiday stuff on sale so I got some Disney princess ornaments for Christmas and a few Christmas toys for the kids - Princess turbo cars for DD and two Power Ranger sets for DS.

I'm going to get the princess cars too, but I missed the 20% toy discount, so I am waiting... :Pinkbounc

John - How do I rate my songs?

Brandi,

To assign a rating:
Select a playlist or an item in your library.
Choose View > View Options.
Select My Rating and click OK.
Select the song or other item you want to rate, and then click the My Rating column to add from 1 to 5 stars.

This was in the iTunes help under the help menu on iTunes. There is also iPod help listed there, and it will give you an option to download the manual - even Apple is getting cheap not including manuals!

Brandi,
Just wanted to let you know that your joy over the new ipod makes me smile, too! Have a great day!

(now for the ipod accessories and upgrades! Can't she deduct it all because she's a music teacher???!!!)

I learned as much as I could on my own..being the youngest, I had to learn from my older brothers - one was a heavy metal dude

and the other was an honor roll, study hard type (is computer administrator now) :badpc: - I chose the route that would get me more success...and happiness.

Andy - so you're saying that Kristina fell for a heavy metal dude? Cool man!!

;) Of course you're happy - you can't hear a thing. LOL.

Carla, how super sweet of you! You have made Brandi one happy girl. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can't help but chuckle at all the excitement.

So does anyone want to order something from DD for her JH band? If she sells 100 items she gets an M4 player! :rotfl:

GA was great last night. It really showed everyone's true selves. Kristina and Alex really surprised me last night. I was waiting for Derek's sister to confess that she too had a roll in the hay with Mark. :rotfl:

Lisa, how many are on the other site that you haven't head from. I am making something for everyone and need to know how many families we will actually "meet."

ALL day long, I took her statement and actions to very well mean she did. He gets around!!
I am liking Alex more this season. I hated him last year!
I think Lisa plans to do a 30 day cut off, which is coming up soon! I know I have held off on making a few things.

No, the opposite. I went the more studious direction. Took off slow at first but then I found myself yearning for more knowledge along the way...school work became very important to me, learning new things...well, you know how much you need to know to learn to fly (I have been reading training manuals and flight training mags)....learning how to program in computer languages for work...etc. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Don't get me wrong...I can listen to some heavy metal...but my tastes in music vary...she probably wishes I was more heavy metal (thats what she grew up on) but I can only take so much!
