Yeah - Paid off my cruise on Friday and was able to book Palo for dinner but I wanted to try the brunch cause I heard such great stuff about it - but the brunch was all booked up Was able to get hubby a massage so that is great! Wanted to do the Sky Line for St Thomas but that is not avaible for some reason..... Was thinking of doing the Under 2 Flags tour - anyone recommened that? I ahve a 7 year old daughter! Almost finished my adult F/E - so very excited, just need to order the stuff for what i want to do for kids but waiting for the final head count. Anyone know when that would be? I think Oct something? And I am still waiting for my room assigment.....anyway - can't wait til we leave! Just wanted to stop in and say hello.......FYI - got my F/E from Tiffiany and it is awesome!!!

We were going to do the St. Thomas Island Tour and maybe a taxi to the Paradise Point tram, and in St. Maarten we're doing the Island and Butterfly Farm tour. The Butterfly farm was recommended in my passporter, but nothing about the St. Thomas Island Tour.

When you get onboard, make a beeline for the reservations, they hold a number for onboard booking, you may still be able to get one.

Cruisin Nuts brunch at Palo.......that sounds like fun!

Anyone know what the chances of booking a 2nd time for Brunch or Dinner once on board. We love this place and would be great to join a brunch group as well. High tea is still on my list to try as well.

My mom and I cruised with you on the 11/14/09 Magic Double Dip.

That was an AWESOME cruise! My mom upgraded to a cat 3 suite, so we were especially spoiled that cruise. Did we meet in person, or just on the boards?

Has anyone noticed that Skyride to Paradise Point is not available on the Disney site??
This is something we really wanted to do!!!
Is it because we are tendering and will not be docking beside the attraction?

For anyone who has been to St Thomas.....Is it possible to get to paradise point from where we will be tendered in, walk? cab? I assume you can buy a ticket to go up at the venue if Disney is not selling them for this cruise.

If I remember correctly, I am pretty sure you can get to paradise point on your own. I really would love to do this too since we haven't done it yet and will have an 8 year old with us.
I am bummed that we are tendering in. I think of all the times I have gone on the Eastern, will be our 4th time, we have never docked at the main pier in St. Thomas...we have always tendered in, or have docked somewhere farther away...It has been a real pain.

Yes, you can get there on your own, it's about a $3 per person taxi from the tender drop off point -- according to passporter.

Hard to believe that I booked this almost two years ago and it's almost here!

Yes, that cruise was AWESOME. Do you remember which cat 3 suite because we were in one too. Oh gosh, we met so many people on that cruise both in person and on the boards. Were you at the meet the first day?

We actually just changed to late dining so it should work out. If it still sounds good let me know. I don't know how you request to sit with certain people so if you do, let me know.

It's already done! As long as I am notified here or by email or PM, I make the changes.

As for linking dining (Be sure to make the request "to be seated with ..." for "rotation dining"), one party has to call DCL with the other party's full name (of the lead person) and reservation number. You then make the request, which preferably should be made no later than a couple of weeks prior to sailing.

I feel so loved! We went on our annual Lake Powell trip and the week before it was simply crazy. We came home last Wednesday to more craziness and then to top it off the area around DH's Fire station decided to burn. It made national news. Machine Gun Fire they are calling it in Herriman, Utah. Still not out. He did 47 hours straight and is headed back out in the morning. Prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

My you have all been busy! It took me 15 pages to catch up. I promise no long absences again.

As for the 9-11 question... we were on Lake Powell same as this year and every year since. It was very eerie. The lake, dam and all ramps were on lock down. If you were on the lake you had to stay on- period. The lifted the lock down after about a day and a 1/2. We have a houseboat but felt sorry for people who had only planned a one day trip! The parks service did food and blanket drops but still!

Hope everyone has a great week. As soon as the fire is out, I'll let you all know and thanks for the nice thoughts. I can't wait to meet you all in person.

Almost forgot! Tanya-Wow! I've been new wardrobe shopping lately too and have to say you look awesome! We will have to swap some favorite "non diet" diet food ideas!

I wasn't at the meet We joined in on the cruise so late, that we didn't do any of the Dis things, which was too bad.
My mom was in one of the handicapped accessible rooms at the very aft of the ship. The ones with the HUGE verandahs.

Bags are packed, truck is half packed... I am ready to start vacation.

Just wonder what kind of room we are going to get at BLT... as of Sunday they manually cancelled our reservation and rebooked it.. but didnt tell us..so when John went to check us in at 2:30 am (he's still on Germany time.) poof no reservations. talk about panic. We had to call BLT at 3:30 am. Supposedly we received an upgrade.. but I am not holding my breathe! I will be happy just to have a room.

We are headed to Blizzard Beach tomorrow, fireworks from our room tomorrow night, Epcot on Friday and MNSSHP on Saturday

for no rain... the forecast isn't looking good.
