Okay, got "Munk Music" on my Ipod! Thank you again for all your help!

It's in with my other Disney Crusin' music, really put me in the mood to cruise!

How did you do that? When I click on the mp3 it only gives me an option to save the link not the actual file. McKenna would love to have it on her ipod. She absolutely loves that song.

I am recovering from my daughters sleepover... I had 10- 10 yr old girls here. it actually went better than I expected.
today is more shopping for the basement..its finished and we have not one ounce of furniture down there. (movie theater chairs are the search for today.) then off to take Gabby to a bday party.

the sun is shining...60 today.

I only have two 10 year olds for a sleep over tonight. Must be the 10 year old thing to do. The similarities between many of us are funny. We are finishing our basement at the moment too. We need a good wall for the Disney art =)

lol - I'm the one who is "odd one out" with few similarities. Info for any newbies here: By choice, I've never had kids. My DH (our 20th anniversary was last month) lives in Idaho with all our pets. He is a retired AF fighter pilot who wants to stay where the hunting, flyfishing, skiing, rafting, kayaking, etc. are. I get back there occasionally but since '03 have been living here in FL looking after my elderly DM. Early last week she was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. She is in a lot of pain but back surgery is not advised at her age. I've started taking her to physical therapy several times a week, so don't have all the free time I previously had.

But that does not mean I will neglect the Cruisin' Nuts. I've been looking forward to this "special" cruise for a couple of years now and finally it's nearly here.

Everyone sounds like they were busy this weekend. We had a nice day at EPCOT yesterday enjoying the flowers and people. Went Soarin' and said Hi to Crush.

Shari, understand what you are going through with you DM. Hubby's Mom is here in Fl with us and she was diagnosed with a ruptured disk 3 weeks ago. She has been having nerve blocks to see if that will help but no relief from the pain yet. My best wishes to your Mom.

DH off on business trip. Stopped by Joanne Fabrics on the way back from the airport, which was a zoo today, by the way, and didn't find any Disney fabric. No FE ideas came to me either. At least I have time to keep thinking.

As for the music, not sure how you need to do it. All I did was copy the file to my desktop. From there into my music file and just downloaded it in my Ipod file. Seemed easy and I love having it in the car. Glad you gave us the words cause some of it is hard to understand without them, singing along in the car is a lot of lalalalala's when I forget the words!

For the song, I also just went to Amazon.com to find it. Searched for Disney music/splashdance and was able to find the song you can by for .99. Easy to do it that way, too.

DWtraveler- I bought an amazing FE from a really great lady on line. It was cheap, easy, adorable and even embroidered with our names. We like it so much it hangs in our kitchen between cruises. Let me know if you want her contact info. I think I still have a PM from her.

I didn't know this, I salute your husband for his service to our country! I remember doing some fishing when I was a kid with my Uncle in Michigan (or was it Minnesota...I can't remember). Nice, calm, and no-no beer around

It's funny that they now send things like this so far ahead of the sail date. It's probably good for business though. I think if someone was contemplating canceling and they received such a mailing, it could very well prompt them to stick with their cruise plans - lol. Disney knows its stuff!

I got that mail too... I like knowing Sept 5th is when I can book Palo. I am still debating adding REAS to our package..then we can book Palo at 105 days. My kids were excited to see the envelope too.

It was funny. I received two of these mailings the same day. First I thought it was an accidental duplicate. Then I thought maybe they were crazy (?) enough to send one for my Dec. 2011 cruise this far ahead also.

Finally I compared the res numbers. One was for my current booking on our 2010 cruise. The other was for the same cruise but had the res number that was supposed to be canceled when I re-booked onboard to get the onboard credit for this one. They transferred my deposit and gave it a new res number plus the credit. I was told it canceled my original res. Apparently not. I checked on DCL's site and discovered they showed two ressies for me on the same cruise. My original one now said Cat. 7 GTY, since I did not change rooms when re-booking so had "taken" 7626.

I phoned DCL and they were VERY happy when I explained the situation to them. They said my original booking had NOT been canceled (even though its deposit had been transferred) and I would have received an invoice for payment when due. Ooops! All this and I'll be traveling solo, so there is no way I could use two rooms. No biggie as long as I wouldn't make payment on the "wrong" res, but it amazes me that an old res with no deposit could still exist. Guess they overlook some details!

Birthday party 2 was a success... even though we had 3 cancel at the last minute. it was 6 12 yr old this time. They were all in bed by 12:30 and up at 8 (with the time change). I am impressed how well behave both sets of girls were. now bday mania is done again til next Feb. my sons bday is an easy event!!

FYI to anyone considering getting or renewing a U.S. Passport. Do it now! The U.S. State Dept. is proposing a 35% hike in fees for new passports, renewals, passport cards, etc. It looks like it will happen pretty soon.

I'm glad I renewed and am good until late 2019!

Thanks for the warning. We will do that this week as soon as we have new pictures taken. Our passports expire in January.

Hello All!

Well, we just had to change our cruise from the 2010 Cruisin Nuts to the 2011 one. So, we are sad that we can't sail this year, but are real happy that we will be on the Cruisin Nuts #2 voyage! Have fun!
