11 year old boy missing for 10 years. Parents (adoptive) never reported him missing.

They didn't report him missing because they know where his body is/was because they killed him OR they sold him to someone else for god knows what purpose.

Yup, that's my snap judgment and I feel perfectly comfortable in making negative judgments about people (I don't use the word parents deliberately) who don't report a missing child.

Oh, the kicker in this story is the lovely adoptive "parents" continued to claim him as a dependent even after he "ran away." In fact, they claimed him as a dependent in their 2002 bankruptcy filing even thought they hadn't seen him since 1999.

Relatives are now coming out of the woodwork saying this boy was terribly abused while he was in the home. How very sad. No child deserves that.

I'm guessing they're going to be brought up on at least three charges -- 1) fraud for continuing to claim him as a dependent, 2) not reporting a missing child, which I believe is against the law in their state, 3) child abuse. And 4) murder if they find remains. And it sounds like they're looking for remains.

I think it's reprehensible that there are family members who are just NOW saying that there was abuse. Where were they to protect that poor little boy 10+ years ago when the abuse was taking place?!?!?!

I have to agree that the reason these monsters didn't come forward 10 years ago is that they know what happened to him. They are the ones who did whatever it was that was done. What a sad sad story of a little boy who fell through the cracks. He was failed by so many, many people.

I hope that he's at peace now, and that those people get whatever they have coming to them...
