11 person trip hotel recommendations

So, I've been tasked with planning a family trip for my in laws' 50th wedding anniversary in Feb. 2019. We are 3 family units (2 adults + 2 kids, 2 adults, 1 adult + 4 kids). All kids under 18. Does everyone have experience with this size of group staying off property? What are your favorite reosrts/villas? I'm interested in the most convenient to WDW as far as driving each day is concerned.

A good resort for that many people off-site would be Doubletree Suites by Hilton in the Disney Springs area. They allow 6 people in the rooms and you can book a package with Disney even though it is off-site. I believe they have a shuttle as well for free.

I like Orange Lake, 2 and 3 bdrm condos. If you rent through an owner, they can help get all of your rooms beside each other so all of your backyards are side by side. The stand alone villas are nice, nobody above you or below you, and it's nice that you can walk right outside to your patio. Plus its a great resort.
