OK, so we've been to WDW several times as a family and have tried many places but want to expand our horizons. We are doing an 11 night split-stay at Poly/AKL, and so we are definitely dining at all the restaurants at those 2 resorts. We need 11 dinners!

Here's our for-sure list (I'm talking dinners, here. We usually get b'fast on-the-go and lunch usually CS):

'Ohana
Kona
Jiko
Sanaa
Boma
HDDR (we love it and skipped it last trip, so this time we really want to go back)

So that's 6 and we need 5 more! Please help us choose.

Here are the ones we're MOST interested in that we haven't tried:

California Grill
Coral Reef
San Angel
Flying Fish
Fulton's
Tokyo Dining
Narcoossee
Citricos

And 3 we have tried before, but would love to do again:

Le Cellier
Rose and Crown
Les Chefs de France

Of the 11 listed here, which 5 would you choose?

Thanks in advance for helping out!

I would go with:

Citricos - AMAZING place!!!!! My absolute favorite Disney restaurant.
California Grill - my very close to the top, 2nd fav - and come on, you can't beat that view anywhere!

I haven't been to any of those others but I would choose these for the last 3 because they're places I really want to try:
Flying Fish
San Angel
and Coral Reef

Definitely Le Cellier, San Angel Inn, Narcoossee's and Chefs de France. I've never been to California Grill or Citrico's but have read excellent reviews. Maybe someone else who's been there will chime in. :goodvibes

I would choose CG, Narcooses, Citricos, Le Cellier and Coral Reef. :)

I would recommend Narcoossee's, and CG -- try to time your ADR with WISHES. Chef de France, is always a must do with us. R and C time with illuminations a 7:30PM ADR

Not to make you more confused with choices, but we REALLY enjoyed Cape May Buffet and the Beach Club. Lots of great seafood for dh, and great stuff for me and the kids too. Oh, and the desserts are wonderful!!

Thanks for the suggestion, but we plan to stay at YC/BC at some point, so we're saving Cape May until then. We agree that it's a place we'd like to try, just not this trip. :)

Hands down... Jiko, Cali Grill, Flying Fish, Coral Reef, Boma. We ate at all 5 of those during our honeymoonin May and loved them all. We loved Jikeo so much that we canceled our Narcoosee ressie to go back to Jiko!

Enjoy :)

I would definitely do:
San Angel, this dinner was fabulous! The food was good (not tex mex, more traditional), very tasty and the atmosphere out of this world. It is very romantic but subtle.
Le Chefs De France would be next....I haven't eaten here but so wanted to! I think some of the things they offer sound so good!
Coral Reef, am not a big seafood fan but love the aquarium!

The rest I am not sure. But wow 11 days!! Have fun!

But wow 11 days!! Have fun!

I know, right?! This will be our longest trip ever and we are sooo excited!! We are celebrating DDs Sweet 16 and DH's and my anniversary, so we are doing a great big celebration trip.

Thanks all for the suggestions so far! Right now we're leaning toward CG with fireworks for DD's b'day.

Keep those suggestions coming! Also, if you see anything on the list you wouldn't recommend, please feel free to chime in.

This is just personal taste but I would take off Tokyo Dining. That is the one restaurant that doesn't appeal to be but I am not a huge fan of sushi either. You didn't mention if there will be youngsters with you. Based on your choices my guess is there aren't. If there aren't I would do Citricos. My next choice would be Flying Fish. I have never eaten at either place but would love to try them.

For Signature dining we love Narcoossee's, California Grill, Flying Fish, Jiku, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse. This upcoming trip we will be trying Citrico's for the first time ever. We also love Bistro de Paris but I don't think it is on the DDP. We usually use the TIW card there.

For 1-credit dining we love Chefs de France and Le Cellier.

When are you going? Have you made any ADRs yet?

Ok, here's what I would go with

Citricos- AMAZING!
Cali Grill- Love it
Narcoosee- Very good
Flin Fish- LOVE this place!

And for the fifth, I have *heard* great things about San Angel & Tokyo dining....Plan to try them on the honeymoon :lovestruc

Fultons was just "ok" in my opinion.

And all of your choices look great!!

We NEVER go to Disney with out stopping in Le Cellier and Califonia Grill. In fact, we're going for 8 days over Christmas break and we're in in Cali Grill 2x.

I also like to stop in San Angel Inn when we're able to.

My falimy would choose the following out of your list:

Flying Fish
Cali Grill
Coral Reef

We are looking forward to Narcoosees on out next trip.

When are you going? Have you made any ADRs yet?

We are going July 29-August 9, so no, we cannot make our ADRs until late January. I like to plan ahead! I have finished doing everything that I can do up to this point, so the next step is the ADRs. The dining is a very important part of the enjoyment of the vacation to our family. I'm hoping that the 180-day window will help me to get some of the harder-to-get ADRs, like 'Ohana and GC.

Our kids will be dining with us; DS is 13 and DD will be celebrating her Sweet 16th during our trip. They are both very adventurous eaters and appreciate fine dining. They both LOVED Artist Point and Chefs de France last trip (now those are their favorite restaurants in WDW). They love 'Ohana and Tangierine Cafe, and enjoy Mexican and sushi. They will try just about everything at least once. I guess I'd say they are more like adults than youngsters when it comes to dining. Thanks for asking!

This is a big celebratory trip for us. DD 16th and DH and I 20th anniversary. We will not be on the dining plan. We are contemplating buying at least one AP, just so we can get the TIW.

Thanks for all the responses. Would love more feedback!

Not a single vote for Fulton's? We've decided to definitely add CG for DD's sweet 16th (with fireworks! if possible), so that leaves 4 more. I'm so surprised no one said Fulton's!

Unfortunately we have only been to LeCellier out of all that you have listed, but if it were me I would always go with ones that you have never tried for the new experience. Our goal is to one day say we have experienced all the resorts and restaurants that WDW has to offer. We have a long way to go!

Until I read you were NOT on the dining plan, I did not answer. First, we've never done signature restaurants at Disney (and not sure we ever will with the exception of one or two). I would HIGHLY recommend Fulton's. It is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney (it is the first Disney restaurant DH ever took me to and we went for a very special 25th anniversary dinner two years ago and we were there in September of this year as well). We also got our food queen, MickeyNicki, and her husband hooked on Fulton's.

You've already decided to add CA Grill, correct? You should be pleased with that although like any restaurant they can have an off night. We've had pretty good success there, though, and they do have a pretty extensive menu.

Of the rest on your list, without knowing your family's food preferences and food budget, I would recommend Flying Fish and Citricos without hesitation.

Flying Fish has some of the best seafood on property and it far eclipses Narcoossees in my opinion. Citricos is the best restaurant at the Grand Floridian after Victoria & Albert's - they have amazing food in a lovely, calm setting.

Tokyo Dining is pretty good, although if your reason for dining there is sushi I would suggest that you consider Kimonos (Swan), or Wolfgang Puck Cafe (DTD Westside) ... CA Grill also has pretty amazing sushi if you like fishies and rice. :thumbsup2

We prefer Rose & Crown and Le Chefs for lunch as opposed to dinner - a better value from where we sit.

Enjoy your trip and all those great meals you have planned! :goodvibes
