Good Morning ,
Well today DS and I are getting out of the house. We are getting afew things at the store for dinner and then Target for afew things for our trip that on on sale, then the Dollar Store to get my Christmas wrapping paper and tissue paper. Tomorrow we are going to see a show with Elmo and all the Sesame Street characters so that should be alot of fun. Well DS new word is "BABA Bird" which we are thinking means Big Bird because he is always pointing to Big Bird when he says it!!! Sunday nothing exciting planned. Everyone have a great weekend!!!

Just a few hours in the office this morning and then we start the process of flying home. Oh, the life of a business traveler is so exciting, isn't it Shell?

Four games to referee tomorrow, and then Sunday will be church and getting ready to fly to Portland, OR on Monday.

Morning all:

Well how is everyone? I know I havent been on this week....its just been soooo busy at work..... Ya would think that just because your at work, dosnt mean you need to work and have no fun!!!! Well, I actually go into work a little later today, as I have to work tomorrow. Anyway, I have a few minutes and just thought I would pop in and say hello.

Nothing going on...well my daughter is back in the states.....yeah She got in late Monday evening to her home base in Colorado springs....So I spoke to her on Tuesday, she was out having dinner and a few drinks....I told her I didnt want her drinking (I like to act like a Mom once in awhile ) so she tells me she hasnt had a drink in 14 months and she was going to have a couple.... thats my girl!!!! But she had already gotten a lot done, like her hair...shopping for clothes (she loves to shop) but she also had gotten her apartment and had movers coming on Wednesday to bring all her furniture that she had in storage....so she is getting settled. She will be home here on the 12th and is bring her boyfriend....a possible wedding in the near future....

Well nothing else new here.....glad everyone is doing well....

Wow, that is so cool that she's back for real!! I guess my list of things to do when I got back would be the same as hers ... call Mom, drink, shop, hair . That girl has her priorities in place!

It is gloomy and rainy today so i put on a pot of spaghetti sauce to cook.
Got to splurge sometimes and forget about the caloires and enjoy.

I am staying home and handing out candy. Last year we had about 120 kids. we have lots more families living her enow, so not sure how many we will get this year.

Bob, when you go to Portland, better pack the longjohns. Some of my family lives there and it has been in the low 30's at night and only 40 to 45 during the day.

Well today is a yucky rainy day. DH and I decided to hang up some pictures in DD room and a shelf in our family room. We have been living here 3 years, but still have a lot of stuff that is not hung up. I also have stuff in boxes still This afternoon we are headed to Grand Rapids for a family party. We will be back tomorrow night.

We don't have a lot planned for Halloween. Trick or treating will be the highlight. I will be up at Madisons school for her party and parade. Our neighbors are having a big party this weekend. I am not sure if we will be able to go to it or not. If we go I will dress up in some 80s clothing. I have a very old shirt that I found from high school. Gotta put my collar up. I can tuck my jeans in my socks and some how transform my hair and I will be good to go Guess i should get some aqua net hair spray.

Denise-Glad your daughter is back safely

Lynn-Have fun a Sesame street Live. My kids did that when they were younger and loved it.

Good Afternoon ,
Well we just got back from Wal-Mart. They have the cutest christmas wrapping paper. We got ofcourse Thomas the Tank, Frosty the snowman and Charile Brown huge roll for $2.88 which was great!!! I just went in for luggage tags,cards and bread !! Well let me get DS to take a nap so I can take one too!!!


Kathy: Our plans for Halloween are to go visit DH at work with Ds in his Elmo costume. Then when DH gets home we are going to go trick-r-treating with Ds to afew houses on our block.

Denise: Glad to hear you DD is home safe!! And a girl after my our heart with shopping!!

Okay, I will be the one to save us from being on page 2. Well it is a very wet Saturday morning here in NY. It was an early morning with DS this morning. I guess he is excited to go see Elmo . Well that is all that is going on here. Talk to you all when we get back from show.

Well we are cloudy today but no rain so far.
I made french toast this morning and the dogs each ate 2 pieces, plain.
Oh yes, I gave greg some too.

Not much else happening here today that I know about, we may zip over to the farmers market this morning for some fresh foods but that is about it.

Sorry, Kathy DS actually let me sleep in this morning !!! I enjoyed it alot!! DH prepared a great breakfast for us this morning including Cinnamon buns!! DS's favorite!! The Elmo show was so much fun!! We were 5 rows from the stage!! DS was glued to the stage the whole time. He keep saying Big Bird the whole time.. We got him a flag, shirt and a CD from the show. Well today we not doing nothing exciting. Going to make baked potatoes, candy carrots and london broil for dinner. Well I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

HEY EVERYONE!!! We are EXACTLY at the 13-month mark for the '08 Nana Head Reunion!!!

I wish it were 27 days. But hey the next year will fly by right?? This year seemed to go by fast. This week I was going through last years cruise pictures and it got me really excited for next year and really bummed that we are not going this year. I hung up our Castaway Cay pictures. Aaaah what great memories

Hope every one had a good Sunday. Quiet around here today. Every one is chatting on th 07 board. It is getting so close!!

Today we went to church. This afternoon I just stayed home. Had to help DD with math home work . My least favorite subject and hers too. She has a test tomorrow. So far this year she has been struggling when it comes to math tests. I am hoping she is ready for the test tomorrow.

We had a nice time in Grand Rapids. The kids spent a lot of time swimming. It was nice to get away for the night. We came home last night and I was in bed by 9:30 I was beat. Well I need to go pick DD from youth group at church. Have a good night.

Happy Monday everyone,
suppose to rain some later today.
Last night it was finally cool enough to open the windows all night. That was so nice to have fresh air.

Not to much today.
Going to make a couple of door signs for the 07 cruise and use the deodorant on the carpets and furniture today. With Pets you gotta do that sometimes or you can really tell there are pets in the house.
I hate to walk into the house and have it smell like dogs. There is no reason for that if you deodorize now and then as well as keep the dogs clean.

Going to call the vet to get Minnie in too. She has something wrong, not sure what yet.

That is my day today.
