So tonight we all went to a favorite area restaurant that is somewhere between TGIFridays and fine dining -- kinda like Springfield Grille (Shell and Bill will get that reference. But we love it to the point that we buy ourselves a giftcard every Christmas - which we had not yet used coz I kept forgetting to take it so we were going to use it tonight.

I got there early to get our name in. We waited 70 minutes for a table which wasn't horrible. Then we sat down. OMG they couldn't have screwed up more. I had to say something. Just mentioned in a very pleasant tone to our server what was wrong. And there was plenty. The worst was that Emily was coughing. Server kept "forgetting" the water to the point that the next table was asking if she was okay and offering their water to her. To the point that I had to kind of bark at him that the kids needed water. It really was some of the worst service (and kitchen screw ups) combined that I have ever seen.

Owner came out. Insisted on buying our dinners. Mina gave server tip, tried to talk to him. Completely awkward moment. So the gift card we were planning to use is still in my pocket.

What a night.

Jeff, sounds like you guys had quite the time tonight!!

We've had a few experiences like that ourselves.

I went NLU but this is my Highschool I am talking about. That kinda of record in Highschool is unheard of

Just had to do a recovery on my computer, so I lost the file....but I still had the film from the first karaoke nite when the guys got up and sang.....
they sang "you lost that lovin feeling" then did a second song of "sweet home alabama" it was great. They just got up there that nite and sang....and they did a pretty good job.....that was a blast that nite
