DIFFERENT WAYS OF LOOKING AT THINGS (or the uncertainty of the English language)

Two guys were discussing popular family trends on sex, marriage, and values Stu said, 'I didn't sleep with my wife before we got married, Did you?

'Leroy replied, 'I'm not sure, what was her maiden name?

A little boy went up to his father and asked: 'Dad, where did my intelligence come from?'

The father replied. 'Well son, you must have got it from your mother, 'cause I still have mine.'

-----------------------------------------------------

'Mr. Clark, I have reviewed this case very carefully,' the divorce Court Judge said, 'And I've decided to give your wife $775 a week.'

'That's very fair, your honor,' the husband said. 'And every now and then I'll try to send her a few bucks myself'

-----------------------------------------------

A doctor examining a woman who had been rushed to the Emergency Room, took the husband aside, and said, 'I don't like the looks of your wife at all.'

'Me neither doc,' said the husband. 'But she's a great cook and really good with the kids.'

An old man goes to the Wizard to ask him if he can remove a curse he has been living with for the last 40 years.

The Wizard says, 'Maybe, but you will have to tell me the exact words that were used to put the curse on you.'

The old man says without hesitation, 'I now pronounce you man and wife..'

Two Reasons Why It's So Hard To Solve A Redneck Murder

1. The DNA all matches.

2. There are no dental records.

A blonde calls Delta Airlines and asks, 'Can you tell me how long it'll take to fly from San Francisco to New York City ?'

Two Mexican detectives were investigating the murder of Juan Gonzalez.

-----------------------------------------------------

Moe: 'My wife got me to believe in religion.'

Joe: 'Really?'

Moe: 'Yeah. Until I married her I didn't believe in hell.'

A man is recovering from surgery when the Surgical Nurse appears and asks him how he is feeling.

'I'm O. K. But I didn't like the four-letter-word the doctor used in surgery,' he answered.

'What did he say,' asked the nurse.

'OOPS'

While shopping for vacation clothes, my husband and I passed a display of bathing suits. It had been at least ten years and twenty pounds since I had even considered buying a bathing suit, so I sought my husband's advice..

'What do you think?' I asked. 'Should I get a bikini or an all-in-one?'

'Better get a bikini,' he replied. 'You'd never get it all in one.'

He's still in intensive care.

This is our first cruise in 7 years without a balcony and I'm a little nervous about it. I don't like feeling closed in, I like to get outside, but the money was a lot more and a two year old getting out there!!

It's not as bad as I thought. This past June we went on a spur-of-the-moment Disney Cruise out of CA and the only thing we could afford was a Cat 12. I really thought we would hate it since we had only cruised in balcony rooms but after the initial shock of not having a balcony (or window or any natural light) we got used to it and it didn't bother us at all. Plus we slept really good because it was pitch black even in the middle of the day.

Marie as Tonya said don't worry about not have a room number yet. Last time I got mine about 3 weeks before the cruise. Once we reach the 30 day mark keep checking on line. It will show up on your reservation on the DCL web site before you are notified.

Its just so weird that mom got hers before us and were linked and we are on the main reservation. She still is laughing at me. I told here their just jolding out to suprise me with the big suite. :thumbsup2

Hello...

How was everyone's day. Mine was ok, other then the Walmart thing.

DS almost 2 is really not himself today. He will only eat yogurt, has a low grade fever and is very very, I can't stress this enough, VERY cranky...and crying like crazy. DH is hunting and my brother is still at work, so it's just us at home right now. Normally we can tag team him and make him happy someway. I have done everything to make him happy, but no luck. I assume his getting a new tooth.

I have on Mickey Mouse clubhouse and that seems to have subsided him for a little while. So, I took the chance to talk to you guys, but I may not be back...Please let the Tylenol kick in.

I studied the Cruisemate list today, Trying to get to know everyone, it's a lot of folks.

What does everyone do for work? I work at a chemical plant, I'm an Environmental Specialist and DH has two insurance agencies.

I wonder if they will give out many upgrades? I looked today at the sailing, to see if the price had gone down any, and no it hasn't, but it sure seems to be a lot of empty cabins available. Maybe someone from our gruop will get upgraded into some of the more expensive cabins, that way they'd have the other cabins to sell. It's easier for them to sell Cat 11 and Cat 12 than Cat 4 or 5, so I would think anyway...but what do I know??:lmao:

My husband Rick and I own a new small trucking company. we have three trucks as of now. Rick drives himself 5-6 days a week.

I used to be a pre k teacher and then stayed at home with the boys three years ago. I just started back as an aid at a Nursert school just to get me out of the house but again will be looking for work after the cruise.

Welcome Greg#4
I am Wendy and will be with my DH Mike, this is our 6th DCL and the 2nd with the Bunch!! We are from New Orleans and have a 14 year old son who will not be cruising with us due to high school this year.

Oh Good Wendy, now I don't feel that bad that I am leaving my DD home, I mean she doesn't want to go anyway because of school, but I was feeling bad. Why? I don't know.:confused3

Ok, I just got back from lunch...

I must tell you about my lunh "experience". I went to Walmart, that was my first mistake. But, I needed some Disney CARS bedding for DS new bed. We got him a Disney CARS bed. So, while I was there, I loaded up on groceries to take by the house to save me a trip later. I spent about 30 minutes gathering all the stuff and headed to the check-out.

I was the 8th person in the ONLY check out line that was open. Well, after waiting 20 minutes for turn, right when I was going to starting putting my stuff on the conveyor, the cashier tell me that she's closing. There were about 10 people after me. This is a SUPER Walmart and it lunch time, so the store was packed with folks picking up stuff.

I asked the cashier, so are all the people amd me suppose to go put our stuff back if there's no cashier in the entire store OPEN, she told me to use the self check-out. Well folks, i was a little ticked off, so I told her to just put my stuff back up.:confused3 :confused3

Oh and did I mention that I had to drive about 15 miles to get to this place, so 30 miles later...I have no CARS bedding and I still need to go grocery shopping after work.

I NEED A CRUISE!!!!!

Sorry Steph...But I would have told her I want a manager and I'd like one BEFORE she closes.

Exactly what I am hoping for, the Walt Suite! :rotfl2:

Just upgrade already, c'mon you can do it. Category 5 was $10-$15 more than a category 6 through my TA. JUST DO IT!

Hey folks!

One last note before we head to the airport. It is Thursday morning here already, and Thursday is a great day!:thumbsup2 So, when it reaches you guys, just know that it will be a great day!;)

Next post will be coming from Russia. Hopefully I will be able to upload some pictures in the next few days.
