hey jd99 I saw your post about your daughter wanting to come to NY and do stuff around the city...If you are going to be by Build A Bear or American Girl both on the same street...Along that same avenue in the direction of Central Park there is a huge three floor Disney store...They also have character meet and greets throughout the day...Just one block down from there is FAO Schwartz across from the old Plaza hotel...Central Park has a great little zoo, where we love to see the Polar Bears and Sea Lions...A couple of avenues over is Jekyll and Hydes, a kind of cool haunted restauraunt...And there is also Mars 2112 near the Wintergarden theater thats alot of fun, you board what is meant to be a space shuttle simulated ride that takes you into the pit of Mars, with an arcade and aliens, its a fun place to have lunch complete with Alien Encounters...Hope this helps ...Have a great trip

P.S. I have also take the kids to Sony Wonder which is free to get into and you can travel around several floors to explore different types of technology, sort of a hands on techincal museum

Thanks! Great stuff. I have walked past Jekyl & Hyde's a million times in my lifetime and always wondered about it. LOL. DD isn't into being scared though! I forgot about FAO Schwartz - I think it has been closed the last few times there. I have to figure out what is going on at Rockefeller Center when we are there too.

Thanks again everyone for all the great suggestions. I've actually seen Wicked one time and DD wants to see it badly but now that I am checking it IS sold out for the dates we are there. Bummer.

Bummer about parasailing Greg. Maybe I can switch mine to 11:30. When are you having brunch on Monday? We're at 11:30.

Well its officially 75 days till we cruise!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I just made our reservations tonight and got the kids registered for the kid's clubs. :woohoo:

I was surprised that I was able to still get Palo reservations.....two of them infact??!! One for Monday (sea day) and another for Friday (after leaving Castaway Cay)

Jeff, the parasailing at CC for 10:30 wasn't available, but I got 11:30am.?!

I didn't book anything else yet, still trying to decide what we want to do at the other ports??! :confused3

So who is doing the Dolphin Swim in Cozumel? I may post a poll if I can figure out how, just out of curiosity. I am going to book one of the packages today just not sure which one but it'll either be the Adventure Swim or Royal Swim depending on how long it takes to complete. They have an openign at 3:30pm but I'm wondering if that is too close to all-aboard time of 6:30pm to be back on the ship! Check back later guys!

We are doing the 3:30 dolphin encounter. They told us it is 45 minutes long and a 15 minute cab ride back. We are hoping to be in a cab on the way back by 4:45.

Hey Jeff, all the brunches were book, but I got a dinner ressie for 9pm Monday night and a 7:30pm for Friday.....we'll probably only keep one of them though.

I'll try and see if I can't switch to Monday brunch when we board the ship.

Morning Nanas-I am so bummed-We lost power last night, so I could not get on the computer to try to get PALO brunch reservations:headache: I got on this morning and there are not any available. Hopefully I can get a reservation as soon as I get on the ship. We got our power back on sometime last night. It finally stopped raining, but is cool and fall like today.

Well I need to go get DD a birthday cake. Her birthday is tommorow. We are having family over tonight for cake and ice cream. Also need to do :laundy:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUTT!!!!:yay: :yay:   :dance3: :dance3:

Supposed to be our last "hot" day here in SE PA-Mid to High 80's...how do they know that :confused3 ....I'll be glad to turn the A/C off to save a little $$$ for the cruise   ....a little extra $$$...for :confused3 I don't know what??? Any suggestions?? :lmao:

WOW Dawn....10+ inches of rain...that is alot of rain!!!!

Marie,
unless things have changed there are 2 trolleys at KW.
The expensive one that takes you on a tour where you stay ON the trolley.

The other one cost us $8 per person and does a big loop of the entire area with many stops where you can get on and off and walk to all the attractions in the area. They give you a map to follow but we didnt find most of what was listed.
But after all that we figured out you can walk to anything there. The farthest place is the southern most point, it is about a mile from the port.
There is also a visitors information center at Mallory square (right by the port) and they have maps, brochures and will direct you to anything you may want to see.
