:scared: Oh my

Hope he gets better soon:hug:

We have never been to either, so I'm real excited. It will be a new experience for us. I wonder how crowded it will be:confused3 Kathy how's the weather at the end of October?

Kathy's gone for the weekend, Christine. But I can you tell you that it's perfect! We went to the IFF every year for like 10 years. Been to the Halloween party once. (Only because it was extra money, when we already had annuals.) Just watch for the long weekend towards the end of October when alot of schools have teacher conferences and such. If you can, I'd do more towards the beginning of November. Slow, especially because Thanksgiving is coming up. We usually arrived 10/30 and stayed for a week + after that. Sorry, I get long winded when it comes to WDW!

I'm glad that the treatment is working! Here's some more pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: and continued prayers. Never underestimate the power of prayer!

Shell, glad you're home safe-n-sound! Congrats on the 1st-class upgrade!!! (Were you able to take advantage of it -- like lots of free drinks???)
Actually got bumped both ways. Nothing like a free bloody mary at 6:30 in the morning. Can't say much for the margarita though ... well except that it was free! :thumbsup2

I was going to text you to get me a ladder at Home Depot, but I figured it would be tough to check it on the plane.:confused3
I think that's on the TAA list of prohibited items. Greg? Can you confirm that with your co-horts at "work"? :rolleyes1

Did anyone else notice that Cheryl was so excited to be a Nana Head and now we never hear from her? Did we scare her off? sheesh ........

Terri: pixiedust: I know exactly what your dad is going through-I take care of this kind of patient all the time-any questions--call me. It will take alot of IV antibiotics, time, and patience.......and....pixiedust: pixiedust:

Wendy:How did your interview go??? I had an old boss of mine approach me today--she has been begging me for years to come back and work for her but it is away from patient care--as much as I complain some days about my patients, I really do like talking to different people everyday:banana:

Joshua texts me every day still....today he and all his "new" family went to Philly...yes...we have been replaced:sad1:

I have been stress eating since he left....I need to get a grip!!!

Okie, the interview went well, now its a wait and see. A few others applied and one is more qualified but she is not from within the system so hopefully that will go against her and as my BFF-OH says I am way cuter than she is anyway...

Back from Disneyland. We had a pretty good time. Emily was a trooper. I think she actually started turning the corner to health while we were there. But it was PACKED just like Christine thought it might be.

After spending three days there b4 the cruise and then another day today, I have come to the conclusion that DL just can't hold a candle to WDW on so many levels. Lots of little things like the CMs attitude, the way they handle crowd control -- tonight we waited through three monorails to take it from tomorrowland to downtown disney - roughly the distance between the Poly and Contemporary. the one thing we DO really like is the closeness of downtown disney to the 2 parks and being able to walk from hotels like the GCH to either park. Not going to do a full trip report but will post some thoughts about our trip, including the cruise - more or less highlights and not-so-highlights.

Wendy- so glad to get your text that the interview went well!
Shell - glad you are home safe and sound.
Bob- hope you are doing well!
Terri - lots of prayers and pixie dust for your daddy.
Cheri, Christine, Kathy, Mutt, Greg and everyone else: hi!

Back home tomorrow - but it's time. We are way overdue to get home and get back to work, to back to school planning and everything else - good and bad- awaiting us. Gotta make some excursion decisions for Nov. and some dining decisions for Dec.

Night night all.

Mornin' Nanas

Off to take Chelsea to the docs for her physical for school and for her driver's permit---EVERYONE STAY OFF THE ROADS IN SOUTHEASTERN PA--:lmao: :lmao:

Have a great day...will check in later.....:cheer2:
