I was just watching the Tiger game and heard Pudge was leaving Detroit Bummer for us! I hope we are getting a good pitcher out of the deal. The Tigers are not doing nearly as well this year as last. They are loosing as we speak. They did win yesterday though

Bob-Yes the camp does belong to our church. A family from our church left the church to run the camp. Our church has 4 campuses and the camp is used by all 4. I think sometimes other churches use it, but not too often. This will be our first time working there. I am glad I am not in charge of any of the kids. I did that when Jordyn went to 5th grade camp and I got very little sleep We are looking forward to it, but I know it will be tiring. I am thinking I will have to be up pretty early for kitchen duty . I am NOT a morning person.

Maybe you'll get lucky and get the dinner shift!

Last night's Cubs game was a good time! Lots of drinks and the Cubs won!!! I love Ryan Theriot!! Wendy, you should be proud that I root for the LSU guys!!!!

Lorna, I know what you mean about the kids and sleep. I used to help chaperone our youth retreats to Panama City, FL. First year, we had one young lady who violated rules, and we had to call her mom to come and get her. Well, some of us stayed up all night until her mom got there. And, that was day 1 and the rest of the week didn't get any better for sleep!

Hi Marie,

If they don't don't know how to use email, then you probably won't have a problem. If you listed your own email address, then you can monitor and screen any incoming messages and the kiddies won't be tipped off about your big surprise!
