Lance went back to school today for first time since his surgery... We go Monday to get stitches out and to get pathology reports from the removed lymph node..

We had booked our Mexican cruise in GTY status - category 8. Just got our cabin assignment - Cat 6!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a good day here!

One of my fellow agents....ummm.....errr....I mean buddies just e-mailed this to me!!

MISSING HUSBAND

Rick was in trouble. He forgot his
wedding anniversary. His wife was
really angry. She told him
'Tomorrow morning, I expect to
find a gift in the driveway that goes
from 0 to 200 in less than 10
seconds, AND IT BETTER BE
THERE!!'

The next morning Rick got up early
and left for work. When his wife
woke up she looked out the window
and sure enough there was a box
gift wrapped in the middle of the
driveway. Confused, the wife put on
her robe and ran out to the
driveway, and brought the box back
in the house.

She opened it and found a brand
new bathroom scale.
Rick has been missing since Friday.

Please pray for him.

Just back from Lizzie's last swim meet. I feel a little sad that the summer season is over as we enjoy this team much more than the year-round team she is on. She did a great job in backstroke again in 2 relays and freestyle in a third. She did not get chosen for championships. It's a tough draw as only the top four or five kids in each age group get picked and she is probably about the 6th or 7th fastest in her age group. I don't think it bothered her though as her friend who is VERY fast also didn't get chosen (we actually can't figure out why).

Now I am lobbying the Y where she swims in the summer for a year round team. There is really no reason why they shouldn't have one and the coach is willing to coach year round....and the families are supportive...so off we go to lobby.

THanks Bob. That's exactly my mantra. From last summer to this summer, she cut about 6 seconds off her 25 freestyle time...and probably 10-12 seconds off her time for every other stroke. As a dad, I of course, die everytime she has a tough swim....but just love watching her give it her all. Her coaches love her because she works so hard. So she'll be okay.
