I grew up in Lindenhurst and moved all the way to West Babylon after I got married. We moved to Vegas 9 years ago and miss Long Island like crazy.

Good Afternoon. I have a sick daughter home today. She has had a sore throat since Friday. i think she just needs a day to rest. We had a pretty busy weekend.


We had a good Memorial Day yesterday. The girls and I were in the local parade with the Fire Department. This day hits home with us because we had a good friend whose son was killed in OCtober of 06 in the line of duty


Mel-How is your family? I hope they were not hit by the tornado.

Wendy-Glad you are starting to feel better. I can't believe your cruise is that close! You so darn lucky!!!

Tonya-Sorry to hear you niece got sick I am glad the wedding was nice.

JoAnna-I hope you decide to crusie with us! I am Lorna and am cruising with DH John and 2 daughters Jordyn who will be 12 by crusie time and Madison will be 9.

Not much else going on here. It is only in the 50s today. Yesterday we hit 87. Crazy weather I need to go eat lunch and get DD.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone...I am sooo on the fence, because I have RC Explorer of the seas booked for February break in 2009, but this cruise is sooo much less in price. OMG I can't make up my mind LOL
Yeah, I know tough decision. We just came off the Wonder in April, it is so hard to decide because RCCL is so much FUN but Disney's service is so much better. I haven't done any Disney adult night life, have any of you done their adult only shows at night? Please let me know as I think that will be the deciding factor.

We enjoy the night life on board. We usually go to the adult shows which are really funny and go to Diviersions after unless I can find someone to dance with me ...than I would be in the clubs all night. The have some really funny game shows including Magic Quest which is pretty much the same as Quest on RCCL.

Not a huge baseball fan anymore...But I would say I am a Met fan, Islander fan, Jet fan, but not an electric fan LOL...DH is a diehard GIANTS fan.

We used to be huge Islander Fans (even had season tickets for a year) but once we moved to Vegas we haven't really followed hockey as much as baseball.
