Hellooooooooo Nanas!!!

I'm in San Antonio for an event tonight (they have Fiesta, which is the SA equivilent to Mardi Gras) and my company has a party for business partners, etc. that I have to take care of tonight.

Well, first I must say that I missed my Nanas terribly. Next I must say that Wendy and Tonya got a nice dousing of "Woo-titude" with this whole Hey-Woo's-gone-let's-be-BFFs crap! S'ok ... I have an official Tink BFF pin now from my NEW BFF!

Highlights were Soarin' (thanks Denise), Test Track (that's a like a roller coaster, right Terri? ), Ohana, Teppan Edo, margaritas, grey goose slushies, MUPPETS (why can't they do more Muppet stuff for Pete's sake????), Buzz Lightyear (though, dangit, da Mutt beat me), Mickey's Philharmagic, and watching Terri ask the hostess at Teppan Edo why there wasn't any fried rice on the menu (THAT'S CHINESE, YOU DIP!)

Disappointments included Boma (sorry Jeff, not really that good to us), a SIXTY DOLLAR BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOLLYWOOD & VINE (honestly, how can freakin' eggs cost $60???), and Animal Kingdom as a whole (thankfully we didn't dedicate an entire day to it).

I have the camera with me, so won't be able to post pics until later this week.

While it was a nice trip, I will tell you that da Mutt and I agree on one thing ... we are definitely much more DCL people than WDW people. We missed our ship terribly!

Why, oh why, did I come back to work? Why did I come back to back-stabbing, egos, sneakiness and bull****? I want to curl up in a ball and cry ...

Well, Good Morning Everyone! I just barely make it--11:45 a.m.! Went to get my blood tests this morning right after I dropped off Christian, library hour with Elizabeth and now I'm home for a couple of hours. Project to accomplish--sweep out the garage for a garage sale this Friday.

Shell and Bill, Glad to see your back! Shell, it's hard to get back to "reality" isn't it? I'm sorry to hear that your WDW vacation wasn't as magical as you would have liked.

Hunter, What have you done this time!?! Pixie dust, of course, that everything is OK? You must have really broke it good if you have to see a specialist!?! Let's try for no more broken bones for this year!

Lorna, Hugs for you and your family but especially for the family that lost their son.

I think the cheapest out of Las Vegas right now is by Airtran for $300. Spirit airlines will probably beat that price in time, but I'm not a huge fan of Spirit.

I can't believe flights out of LAS are so expensive! I was able to get tickets for my family of 6 for about $700.00 total!!

We came "this close" to canceling the Mexican Riviera cruise and heading back to the islands for our summer vacation but then we thought we were being piggy since we were just there last summer!
