11/28 MK Crowd

I was very surprised at the crowd at Magic Kingdom yesterday, I anticipated the Monday after Thanksgiving to be very light and there were waits of up to an hour on several attractions. Does anyone know if Florida gives the Monday after Tgiving as a holiday, just wondering what to expect for the rest of the week.

I'm guessing people took an extra day rather than having to fly/drive home on Sunday. As long as they're all gone by Friday when we get there.

Well I can tell you that all the people certainly were NOT at MGM studios.
We walked on to TOT as fast as we could repeatedly with no wait and did the same at RNR coaster as well!
The shows were all pretty light too.
I would imagine the crowds will get consistently smaller as the week goes on.

AK wasn't crowded yesterday either. We were able to walk on most everything without a wait.
