Right now our plans are to go Oct 24th - Nov 1st. We really like going for Christmas but after this year it's just way to close. We have never been there for Halloween or the Food and Wine Festival so it will be something different for us too.

Hi Christine! Miss ya, I may do WDW next year but I'll do it at the worse time of year...AUGUST LMAO

Joanna, If we do WDW this year, it will be in August also. If they have free dining in late August, we'll go then.

Christine, It really isn't too bad. You know how to deal with the heat and pm showers. Hit the parks early and late and skip the midday

Wii Fit is great. Did you see that Jullian from the Biggest Loser also has a workout for the Wii?

Actually saw that at Best Buy yesterday. Can't wait til Santa gets here to see if the WII Fit is in his bag for us!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new camera. It's the Canon G10. Check it out online. It's a little bigger than most point and shoots but the pix it takes are worth it. We got pictures we have never been able to get before (indoors wise and in the dark, that is) - like at the kids' graduation ceremony in the WD Theater, at Pirate Night, at the shows, even in the atrium. I wish I would have known you were looking as I would have let you borrow it and try it out.

Hi guys....well I am going through withdrawl without the nanas...so I am gonna lurk and occasionally post...not able to go on this cruise...we are going on Jan 2, 2010 so Joshua(DS) can go....he is sooooo excitied!! It is funny both of my kids are sooo excited and they will be 19 and 1week shy of 20 when we go.....Disney is in our blood!!!!

Chelsea(DD) got hooked on rockband in the Stack-so this is what she is asking for as a Christmas presant--we only have PS2----so off to by another system I go...they do have it for the PS2 but ours is starting to go bad

For those of you that didn't see on the 2008 board-Rick is doing OK after his surgery!

Got to go put him back in his sling...he is moaning in pain...a nurse's work is never done

Morning all,

well we went to bed with raina nd woke up to 3 or 4 inches of snow and stil spitting some snow here. It was around 23 last night which was warmer than predicted, high of 30 today.

we are next to I-5 a major freeway through the state and there is almost 0 traffic. Usually its buzzing all night long. The trucks stop near us is filled with semi's trying to go places.

Greg waiting until 8 a.m. to try for work.. If its too bad he said he would come back home. I am waiting for a call to say he made it ok.

we have 10 days of bitter cold is the forecast is right. More snow wednesday, thursday too and next sunday.

what we have is crunchy ice snow.
The pups love it but cant take them out for very long in this cold. Their feet get red and I freeze.


We had a rough weekend. had to make a tough decision. I fyour not a dog lover it wont make sense to you but it wa shard for us.

Pixie has decided nOT to coem when called the past few weeks, Nomatter what we do. This is dangerous for many reasons, lus she will run from the field into the park and up to people and her hair is up with excitment. It is a friendly lets get aquianted thing but people dont know that and it scares them.

I know it would scare me too.
so we have sent off for a shock collar to train her. I hate those things but it has becoem dangerous for her not to be trained. The one we ordered is guaranteed NOT to do any physical damage ot the dog, some of them are so powerful they can really hurt them physically on a permanent basis.
It also has a tone added for training purposes.

I hope this will work, it is a last measure other than she can NEVER get off her leash and that wont let her exercise like she needs to do.
It will probably take 2 weeks with the Christmas mail to arrive but it was $60 cheaper to order it.

wish us luck. I hope she learns really fast so we wont have to zap her more than 3 or 4 times. It really bothers me to think about doing this to her but we are down to our last options.

They can evict us for her running into the park off leash and if someone were to panic when she ran to them and swat at her, she may bite them and then she would have to be put down. so we really have no choice.

Maybe she will learn the boundries after just one or two times. I agree with you, it is for her own good. It would be terrible is someone said she was aggressive and she had to be put down. That is a sacy thought. I know that walmart had a wireless fence system. You put the collar on your dog and set the amount of area you want them to have. You could set a certian amount of feet away from the RV and if they get close to the limit it buzzes and then if they get too close they get a shock. It is like the invisible fence systems, only it works without the need to bury an actual wire underground.

Wii Fit is great. Did you see that Jullian from the Biggest Loser also has a workout for the Wii?

I love the wii fit! It is great probably one of the best at home exercise tools I have ever own. I use it for an hour ever day and really notice a difference with my back since I started using it daily. The girls have a lot of fun with it too!
