But I'll take it.
Dawn I must have caught up to you by now??

well off to get a few more photos.

Kathy

I'm sure. I'm positive that you've long past me. When I get the chance I'm going to total again. I've wrote down the tops as I've caught up!

I can tell you since I was gone until today:

Kathy - 16
Jaime - 10 Way to go Jaime!
Chuck - 4
Brantley - 2
Greg - 4
Melanie - 1

I'll get to some pictures, I promise. I've got them to the computer but now I have to get them to photobucket! I'm working on it!

Greg, You were darn lucky man. That skunk must have known it was your birthday!

Kathy, It was suppose to be 88 here today but I think the cold front has gone through. The humidity is bad but no sun and the computer says 75 degrees. Feels warmer than that though!

Hiya Guys,

I am a bit stressed at the moment Dan has still not got a job not through lack of trying and finances are in a desperate state I dont even know how to deal with it.

Looking forward to the cruise is all I can do I guess.

Happy Birthday Greg btw.

Brantley,

Time to put down all those files on your desk and say good morning.
Believe me they will still be there when your done posting here.:lmao:
People expect lawyers to take along time to get to them anyway, it's all a part of the game:thumbsup2
Take a break, just ask the secretary to not disturb you for 30 minutes and join us here.
we wont tell, I promise:rolleyes1

Hey Kathy!!!!

Ok, I will put off getting back to work for a little while. Even though the lunch break is over!!!

Staying on property gives a whole new experince to WDW. The atmosphere is awesome. Its hard to expalin but when you stay there you totally forget about everything but WDW and fun.
we have stayed at the All star sports a couple of times and The Wilderness Lodge.

Kathy

Did you like the All Star? We are thinking about PoP or All Star.

Morning Nana 9er's!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! :thumbsup2

Just woke up....everyone else is still asleep!

Didn't sleep very well last night. I woke up at 2am to the smell of skunk. It was so strong it was burning my nose.

Max, our dog, I could hear under our bed whimpering. I figured that a skunk was somewhere outside.

This time of year we open the windows and doors and pull the screens shut so the house will cool down at night.

I walked out to the living room to shut the french doors in the back of the house and I heard something moving in the living room.

I turned on the light and you guest it......there was a big fat skunk sniffing around the couch. Somehow the screen door got opened and the skunk just walked in.

I whispered "shoo....shoo" and it walked back outside!! :faint:

I feel like the luckiest man on earth right now because if that thing would have taken off for the downstairs or anywhere but outside.......I'd probably be posting from a hotel room while the house was being deodorized and cleaned for a week!!

Once the skunk left the smell went away also, so it didn't spray anything in the house!! :cool1:

First thing I'm doing this morning is finding a way to lock a Phantom screen door! :lmao:

Good thing you kept your cool!!!! If that thing would have sprayed in the house......:scared1:

We get a lot of those around here as well. The other night when we were coming home there was one walking through our next door neighbor's yard. I had the window down and it was about 10 feet from the car, aimed right at us!!!! Luckily it did not spray.

Plenty of them get hit on the road and when you drive over them the car gets filled with skunk smell.

We stayed at the POP twice...we liked it. For the price it is well worth it. We choose it because it seemed to be closer to the parks then the All Stars and we liked the fact that there was direct buses to the parks from the resort and we didn't have to share with the other resorts. We found the service to be better than our stays at the deluxes...they always went out of there way to help us and we always got our request. It has three nice pools and a nice gift shop and food court. For the price it sure bets staying offsite.

Overall we would stay there again...not for a week but for a few days...we found that the themeing is great especially for the kids but we enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere after a busy day in the parks.

Lisa,
Sometimes dreaming about a cruise gets me through tough times! I highly recommend it. Best wishes to Dan that he find a job soon!!:thumbsup2

with kids I'd do Pop century. As Melanie stated the theme for is awesome for kids and great pools, really close in to Epcot and MGM (Hollywood studios) and pretty much one turn to AK too, just a couple miles down a straight road.
Food is good at the food court too and for a theme park pretty reasonable for what you get.
Not nearly as crowded as places in the parks for breakfast and dinner.
Greg and DD and grandkdis did stay there once while I staye dhome to give medicine to a sick doggie:sad2: They loved it.

Kathy

Lisa,
keep you chin up.
I just went through what your going through accept I dont work so it was only unemployment to live on. Greg was laid off in January and just got a job and started the first of june or close to it.
I clip coupons, no recreation for awhile, cook all our meals and make things from scratch, it is cheaper, healthier and tastes better too.
Even with this job he needs a better one because we have no benefits and we go in the hole some each month, which has to come out of savings.

Times are tough and this is our 3rd recession, believe me it will get better, it just takes time. Just hang in there and if you need to vent we are hear to listen :flower3:

Well at least you wont freeze if you loose electricity again:lmao:
Just roast:rotfl2:

I know when the hurricanes came through and we lost electricity for 2 weeks it was 90+ and very humid.
No pool then.
It was so HOT:faint: :faint:

Kathy

Hi Brantley,
good to see you dropped by, i figured you would sense my message and show up:thumbsup2
I guess we should feel priviledged because we get to talk to a lawyer for free while he is in the office.:lmao: Now how often does that happen??
