We got there around 10:00 last year and got boarding number 3...we didn't get our boarding number though until I checked in. There were a good few yellow shirts there first thing:goodvibes We were onboard before 12:00 and were able to make Palo ressies right away.

We were 6. :sad2: I was too busy visiting with everyone. This year I'm bee lining it to the Castaway desk to get my number. You guys better not be in my way! :lmao:

Greg, I know your still sick but here is something to cheer you up:goodvibes

Hey, am I missing something? Why is everyone in such a hurry to get on the ship??

It doesn't leave until 5pm or later anyway?? :confused3

Now your being silly!!!!!:lmao:

You can get the kids checked in for the club in the terminal instead of wasting time on board, although the wrist bands sometimes are gotton on board.
First pictures with characters when they appear.

MEET THE NANAHEADS IN THE TERMINAL!!!

As soon as we get on, vacation begins!!!!
The sooner the better.
Lunch is being served on deck 9 buffet or at Parrot Cay, but most head up to the buffet so they can enjoy the pool and outside decks.

Not many on the ship yet so perfect for getting those pictures without people in it you dont know.

You will run into nanaheads all over the place due to our fabulous shirts we are easy to spot!!
Plus you will meet many in the terminal.

at 1:30 you can go to you room, unpack, explore the ship , find the kids clubs deck 5 and then MEET THE NANAHEADS !!!

You cant be late for that!!! Silly Willy Man:lmao:

4 P.M. is the safety drill and EVERYONE must attend. They will check off your cabin.
Then around 4:P.M. 30 the Adventures AWAY PARTY BEGINS !!:woohoo: :woohoo:
Although its actually 4:45 before it really gets going, but you want to get there soon on deck 9 so you can all get streamers to wave around. Plus get the kids up close to the stage so they can get a good look at the characters when they come out.

5 P.M. we pull out, party will die down, zip up the stairs to deck 10 and watch us pullout to sea. Many people to wave to along the channel AND SOMETIMES DOLPHINS AND TURTLES will be there too.

then get ready for dinner, then the show.

Now who wouldnt want to be in all that fun??:confused3
Maybe someone who is afraid he will have to walk the plank for his big mouth pirate:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We get a lot of kids here especially on nice nights and so far this fall we have had nice weather. It's a very easy place for kids to trick or treat...there is alot of houses in a small area and the trafic here is low.

we dont have any houses around here. Just farms which are miles apart from each other and like i said in the park only 2 young kids. So I know it will be zero kids this year which makes me very sad:sad1: :sad1:
maybe next year?

Kathy

On my 2010 crusie the ladies are having a chocolate tasting meet.:goodvibes
They are all bringing chocolate candy or what ever candy that their state or country is famous for making.
Some of it really sounds yummy!! Wish I could eat it.
i may go just to look and see what strange candy they have. Many are from different countries and are bringing things I have never heard of.
some are buying it at the first port so they dont have to pack it.

I thought that might be a fun idea for this cruise? Men or women, just brign something sweetthat is made from your state. soem are bringing little pastries and will cut them up for sample size bites.

what do you guys think???

Kathy

Well we check the kids into the club before we boarded and we met up with many of the nana's. We wanted to get onboard to get the ressies we couldn't get online...mostly PALO's Brunch...we had a choice of times which was nice. I was talking to many people after who couldn't get ressies because they boarded later in the day. Then we had lunch and relaxed while the kids went swimming in Mickey's pool...it was a nice way to start the cruise. By time we got to our room we just had enough time to get ready for the nana meet and the sailaway party.

Did he REALLY say that? Like Kathy said...the anticipation of crossing over the bridge into the boat. They announce your arrival by your family name. Everyone welcomes you on board.

So much to do, not enough time. We are going to wait and just get chicken strips instead of waste time in the restaurant. We never even unpacked last year--except to hang the dress clothes. I hope to do a little nesting this year. I want to watch us go down the channel and out to sea. Hopefully see some dolphins. Wave to the camera where Elizabeth and Stephanie will be watching. Oh and the nana meet. Can't miss Magic Quest. Lighting of the tree. We never saw All Aboard Let the Magic Begin last year. Mickey Mania at Studio Sea. Maybe find time to eat. Watch the sunset. And that's only Saturday!!!!

Yes Dawn Greg did say that:sad2:
The shame of it all.:guilty:

I still cant believe it. I think I had better take my whip to that man.:scared:

You can sure tell HE had NEVER been on a Disney cruise before, asking a DUMB thing like that.

I am almost embarassed to say I know him.

How about you?
