Jaime...I'm sorry but the laundry on the ship only takes REAL money. Loonies and twoonies only work at Tim Hortons.....

oh, brother.....mutts at it again....:duck:

Do you guys put anything on your luggage besides the tags to make it stand out? When went on a Carnival cruise, years ago, I remember all of the luggage being in a warehouse, or open area for pick up.

Kim will love this one...one our luggage handle we had Canadian Hockey Tape with the Maple Leaf on it...got some new luggage now though so not sure what we will do this time...

Hi Brantley :wave2:
Hi Dawn :wave2:
Hi Jaime :wave2:
Hi Kathy :wave2:

Don't lock your luggage. When we leave the ship, they are very organized and it's very easy to find yours. Everything is put into sections based on the decks and a range of room numbers.

With regards to Palo's ... yes, $10/person and I think we gave another $10/person just because we thought it was the right thing to do. You don't have to give cash, you can just sign it onto your shipboard account.

Jaime, I'll swat the mutt with a rolled-up newspaper for picking on you :rotfl:

Speaking of luggage...DO YOU LOCK IT?
I stopped locking my luggage because we aren't allowed to have them locked at the airports anymore...we are always asked to take them off...so we started putting twist ties on them instead...at least that way it will stay closed...

:lmao: :lmao: I am one of the very few Canadians that don't like Tim Horton's coffee...very very poplar here...they seem to be every where and every time I drive by they always have at least 10 cars in line...

As far as real money goes...at least it is finally worth something:goodvibes It going to be fun shopping this year not worrying about loosing money...

since we are driving, the luggage process has always been so easy, they have it down to a science at the port. By the time I am at the port, saving a dollar or two has left my mind so I make sure to drive up, unload, leave most of the luggage at the drop off point with the tags they give us and go up to check in. I am so in the Disney Mindset by then it never occurs to me to worry...... so far, I have never had a problem!!!!
Of course we are there so early the transition seems easy. I want to get on the boat before anything- such as a security breach that left people in the parking lot for 2 hours last time- could happen! We were in our room and getting ready for sailaway while they were calling in the bomb dogs!
I must admit we did fel a little smug!:rotfl:

What time do you usually try to get to the port?

Just thought I'd take a quick peek.

Anybody want to come over and help me with the garage sale from h***?

Jaime-Maybe you could use oversized luggage tags with pictures of all your famous Canadian exports:rotfl:

Judy-I got all excited thinking you might join us for Capt. Nautica? No such luck huh?

Well, off to go night night...............have to wake up early. Garage Sale supposed to start at 9:00 which means the neighborhood should be swarmed by 8:00:sad2: I'm going to look at each item sold as drinks............"Why of course I'll take $20 for the computer desk that cost me $200; that's one drink for me and one for Shell, one drink for me and one for Cheri.............

Love ya:love:

Oh, and BTW.......just in case there are any Turkey Day lurkers about.....these posts aren't about nothing-they're about the love:love:

I'm going to need serious DIS rehab when this cruise is over:sad2:
