Doesnt anyone ever bake from scratch anymore?? I am the only one??

We do. I just don't feel right using a box, tub, tube, etc. Baking is too much fun for me, I guess. (OK, what the heck does that say about me??? )

Ummm... it does taste better, I agree and it's not that hard... it's just that some nights I'm just lucky to get the dishes done and table cleaned off.

And in my defense... I didn't buy the tub... DH did. I wouldn't have even have bought it. I usually go by the don't buy it you won't eat it policy...

Really though we live in a fairly good neighbourhood...not sure what happened I would like to think the wind blew it away ... but maybe the same person who decided to take the bulbs out of my Chrismtas Decorations last year

That same Christmas bulb theif visited me once. It was when we lived in Omaha. Maybe the wind DID blow it off...

My mom and I bake cookies from scratch and give them out to the neighbors, etc. We bake for THREE days. One year we changed the cookies because we thought people might be getting tired of the same ones............NOT a good idea. I thought they were going to ask me to move

I also make my pie crust from scratch.

I don't bake for myself though.........and now-well, "sugar is poison to my body, sugar is poison to my............"

Glen bought a tub of cookie dough home from work some type of fundraiser...I use to bake alot...the problem is I would eat most of it myself so now I only bake a little and Kierra's favorite baked item when I do bake is lava cakes...do they have them on the ship?

Holy S*** One more month

Sorry haven't been on, I've been so busy at work. I have some time now since my email isn't working and I'm just to lazy to restart my computer

My hair dresser called last night and cancelled my appointment. I don't know when I will get in to see him before I leave I was so mad I actually hung up on the girl who tried to reschedule my appointment. Yes, I have a bit of a temper

Looks like my DL trip is still on. The fires are still pretty bad but the weather should be changing so it should not affect our drive there. I am hope the crowds won't be too bad because most people are leaving CA not going there this weekend

Well, I guess I should restart my computer now...just in case my boss is trying to get in tough with me. I'll check in later.

OK so I am a fan of DWTS but I have to say this week had to be one of the cheesyest eva!!! I always laugh at the music but to have Mel B dance to her own song (which is terrible to begin with) was just bad. And than the whole Marie passing out thing was just a little weird...don't most people puke after passing out? She was completely normal (well normal for her) after. Of course I will watch it next week to see what happens...I'm just saying it's getting pretty bad on the cheese scale

Hi fellow cruisers! We will be sailing the magic on the 24th. 51 of us accompanying our fabulous Grandma "Tick Tock". We are having a family reunion and gathering from all over the country. There are a few kids 3, 4, 9 yr olds x 3, 13, 16, and and my dd17. The rest are grown up types. Half of us cruised together last year Mayy 2006 and had a great time! We are really looking forward to a Magical vacation.

Yes at least one night they had them. My son and daughter both got it!

On Carnival they have it everynight!!

Oh, Don't give up on us!!! We are all set. 17 staterooms worth. You should see the ongoing door sign production. Gram is doind fairly well and is soooo excited. Did you all see the news that we will be the first Christmas decorated cruise of the season?? Hooray for us on the 24th! I can't hardly wait!
