Hey all, haven't been able to get on until now, had some REALLY bad weather last night, tornadoes, hail we had no power from 9 last night until just now....got them generators fired up...

You know I heard them mention Indiana on the news early this morning and (after reading your posts yesterday) I was wondering...

glad you checked in, i was getting worried about ya. I have been watching the storms each night on the news thinking YIKES it's headed for Shell.

Florida is filled with all sorts of nasty critters
we pay professionals to come and treat for the varments but sometimes something will get through.
Spiders are the hardest to kill off. I usually let them be unless they get in t he house because they eat all the other pests I hate, but I sure didnt want this one coming in or her babies coming in. They were so tiny I could barely see them. I think she was probably giving birth when I got her. I have found egg sacks around the pool enclosure many times before.

Minnie usually kills the snakes and burries them in the back yard,then Greg finds them when he does the yard work.


Bill, where are you?? Now you've got all of us curious?? I have an extra "Get out of jail free card" from my monopoly game if you need it

Good morning everyone Hope everyone is well..........

I wish I had some DCL pictures to post, but I'm still a newbie. Maybe I can dig out some WDW or DL pictures to share.

Jacob gets out of camp at noon today and then we're driving up to Williamsburg to do some back to school shopping (sorry Josh)

Weather here today is very overcast but at least it isn't quite so warm. Glad to hear Shell made it through alright!!!!!!!!!!

With so many people on vacation, I have started to get the itch...........Southwest just sent an e-mail on their specials to Orlando. I'm thinking I'm going to spend the weekend talking DH into a quickie (trip that is...) I know it's greedy, but I REALLY need a dose of the mouse. We went to DL for the first time last year and my DS and I went just the two of us in May to WDW, but my Pixie Dust is almost gone. Not sure I can make it until November. Everyone who thinks a trip to WDW is in order RAISE THEIR HAND!!! I'll let DH know the count

So, I should have that drink recipe ready by Sunday (I think I'm going to do two) and I have ordered all the things I need for your gifts (I think I even managed to come up with an idea for teens)...........SO, it's really happening.

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! September 2nd I think is the day we get to book. Is that right? Or is the 10th? Anyhoo, it's close. So, maybe over the weekend we can talk some more about what everyone's plans might be.

Probably won't get to post again today, sorry so long. Catch up with 'ya tomorrow.

I bet you've done a lot of the excursions already with as many cruises as you've been on...

I think we're going to stick with the non-excursion plan for us and our little ones.

I'm trying to decide whether to do a Palo brunch or Palo dinner. I need to decide that in order to make corresponding Flounders reservations. I'm leaning towards dinner. But what about DS4? Can he be in the club at that time? (We'd feed him beforehand at buffet or room service)

Having done both I would suggest Brunch. A lot more food to choose and you don't have to worry about missing any of the dinner rotations.

Why is there more selection at brunch? That seems weird. Hubby loves crab legs or lobster. Do they have either?

Hi everyone!

We spent the entire day yesterday in Chicago at a Cubs game. Cubs won and we were even on WGN during the 7th inning stretch!!!! (My 1/2 second of fame!)

Afterward, we went to a cantina with powerful margaritas before heading to eat. We finally made it home around midnight. I have a bit of catching up to do (with work, that is!).

Shell, Bill, glad to hear you're o.k. Kathy -- way to wield a broom!!!

Kim, well, what can I say??!!! Anxiously awaiting the results of your experiments!

Welcome Perrier & family! Our DD will be 6 1/2 at cruise time. She will probably spend a good amount of time in the Club.
