Hi!
I'm back from a full weekend of camping. I see everyone has been quite busy posting here! I have some catching up to do!



Cheri-
I am considering the Hyatt for this reason. It is a little more $$$ tho isn't it? But I'm thinking it might be worth it. We will be traveling with our 4 year old DS and 2nd Ds who will be 18 months old at the time. I'm thinking I don't want to wear them out too much and have exhausted children!

But the other side of me says just get all of the travel over the first day and stay right at the port. So the next day we just have to get to the boat and get on....

Decisions decisions. I'm going to do some pricing...

Welcome back!!! Where did you camp?

The Hyatt is a bit more expensive than some of the other hotels near the airport, and there's no free breakfast. We actually went over to McDonald's in the airport to grab a cheap bite Saturday morning.

How are you getting to the port? My usually travel-savvy/independent- mannered DH really liked the DCL buses last year (and we're doing it again this year.) If you're using the bus, definitely stay at the Hyatt!!! You can get there a lot cheaper on your own, but the convenience is worth it. (Plus they play video about the ship/cruise on the way there so you & the kiddies aren't bored! You get Disney cartoons on the way back.)

If you're renting a car or taking a limo, you could stay anywhere that strikes your fancy. I was in your shoes last year and I'm glad I chose the Hyatt (even though I'm no longer cool. )

Sorry guys, busy weekend. It's been slow at the new place so we were putting together a marketing plan. It's tough when you start out with a new phone number. Now that we have all the little kinks worked out we will start advertising.

this is perfect. When she gets back lay a BIG guilt trip on her for leaving you guys and after she feels guilty tell her she can make it up to all of you by booking the Radisson Hotel for the night before the cruise

Although if she had outdoor plans today she may not be in a good mood. It poured rain most of the day in Orlando area.

I don't know where we're meeting, but it's September 15th. Jan & Dave from the 2006 cruise will be there (Jan and Holly work together). Jeff, what are the details?

As far as your boys, just show them the picture from our meet last year. The kids thought it was soooooooooooooooooo cool to have on the matching shirts, too!

actually have to check in with Jan again. Original plan was a pre-game and post-game meeting. game is currently scheduled at noon but that could change. We hadn't yet set specific times but will do so in a few weeks I would imagine.

Well my mom is OFFICIALLY 70 now Of course I took it upon myself to let everyone within earshot know we were celebrating her 70th B-Day. She didn't seem to enjoy this nearly as much as I did

The new kids are always the last to know.............we can't be cool at the Hyatt and we can't be cool at the Radisson because we have to be COOL at the CBR

I just can't tell my kid on his 10th B-Day that he's celebrating it at the Hyatt when he can practically calculate the mileage to WDW................maybe I could bribe him with Java Juice

We're still deciding about our excursions. DH and I would like to take a snorkeling excursion and then one day take an excursion with my DM and DF. We'll see

Loved Lancaster by the way, very pretty and clean. I'm all about clean.........Wonderful to walk outside in the morning and not be hit in the face with HUMIDITY!!!! Can you feel me Kathy?

Anyhoo, glad to be back. Should probably fill my family in the vacation. I basically kissed the kid on the head, pet the dog and told my DH to unpack the car, then ran back logged in and caught up.

Good Morning All

Hope everyone has a great day. I will be out by the pool, I'm having a Volunteer Appreciation Day for VBS.

Since I just got in last night, I have LOTS to do...........mix the sangria, get out the margarita machine..............I'm telling you, a woman's work is NEVER done.

My family and I were originally staying at PC but the Disney transfer bus doesn't pick up from there, so then we moved to the CBR and paid and extra $100 for each room and the whole time my DH just smiled and nodded.

Last night I told him maybe we should move our res to the Radisson and take alternate transportation to the port. Let's just suffice it to say I will be staying the CBR
