Also on that November trip, we did not get in to Castaway Cay. The seas were too rough.

NO! Say it ain't so!!! NEVER in November!!! ...i will just die if that happens... And I'm not normally so dramatic!!!:worried:

If that happens, I'll be on secret deck 7, curled up in a fetal position, trying to compensate for my emotional loss with hoardes of mickey bars...:mickeybar

hmmm. i feel better already.

Donald's Breakfasaures at Animal Kingdom.

I did that breakfast the first time I went to Animal Kingdom. I found it to be very different from the other breakfasts I've been too. That's not a bad thing, by the way....just different. I liked the character selection and they had cool outfits. I love when I get pics of characters in different outfits.

My favourite breakfast ever was the Under the Sea breakfast at the Coral Reef restaurant (too bad it didn't last). It was a great way to eat by the tank (and not pay normal Coral Reef prices) and they had SCUBA diving Mickey come by (awesome!). The characters (Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, ....Donald, I think...it was a long time ago) were in beach wear. Goofy signed my autograph book and put a SCUBA mask around the two "o"s in his name to make a face.

I'm still trying to decide where to eat on the Friday and Saturday but don't think I'll be doing a character breakfast this time.

The universe must be in PERFECT alignment because now I am up to 6 kids!!! The neighbor had to go to the hospital for tests so I have her two. How many days til vacation??? I REALLY need it!!! Not to mention, Rick escaped while he could so now I am all alone... TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!

Thankfully, the odds are really great that you will be basking in the sun on Castaway Cay that Friday----but you might want to skip the Mickey Bar and go for the Konk Kooler:p .

I liked the Cindarella Castle breakfast mainly b/c it was SO COOL to be able to go into the castle - lots of people don't even know that's an option!

I enjoyed the Pooh and friends b'fast in Crystal Palace, and think I might sign up for that one for my October visit.

Not character but...last time we had ressies for the dinner buffet at Hollywood & Vine; food was good (dessert I recall as being great!) and got "reserved seating" for Fantasmic - well worth it!

Re: Konk Kooler, Linda - lol; but of course!

I haven't done the Cinderella one. She is actually one of my least favourite princesses. However, I am very curious about the inside of the castle. I think that would be cool.

I did the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic package thingy last fall. I thought it was a great deal. The food was good and it's great to not have to worry about finding a seat for Fantasmic.

I'm not a princess-person. more into Pooh and Peter Pan. The characters in the castle were Peter & Wendy, Alice in Wonderland & friends, Snow White (I think). Cindy must've been there too; I can't remember.

Was just IM'ing w/ Sarah and Linda. Tried to get onto jk rowling's site, but my dial up just couldn't cut it (i'm so cheap! someday I'll give in and get cable...) Sigh; will have to wait til monday when I'm at work; lol!

if its not goofy or dopey it's not me. LOL im glad its almost time for the cruise. i can't wait to wear my jacket i made. too warm for now. cya ya later everyone

Well now we're looking into getting the girls My Pal Mickey dolls to have while we tour the parks prior to the cruise.

With our Dreammaker Prince and Princess pkg, the kids each get $50 Disney Dollars, and we're hoping to talk them into using that money to buy Pal. With tax included he is $60.princess:

I wish I had one of those. It would cost me more than I'm paying for one of my nights at Pop Century!!

hi everyone!!
I just got offered a new position at my job!! I am technically switching coorperations, but my accrued vacation comes with me!!
I told them before I even interviewed that if a position was to be offered, it would only be accepted based on my having my time off in November approved. ;)
I am excited, it is more money, (and more responsibility!), and I will have my own work space. (right now I rotate through different spaces depending on the day...

:sunny:

Just wanted to let everyone know that my missing payment was returned to sender and arrived today at home. Will be sending it back out to the proper address today and hopefully it will arrive in plenty of time. Luckily I didn't procrastinate sending the payment in the first place!

John...good luck with the college thing. I'm looking at going back part-time myself. I can't decide between programs though. The one I really want to do would take forever to finish and it's not available online so I would have to start in January (with all of the travelling I'm doing this fall). I'd really like to do a program that would give me another degree but it's too expensive. It's a Catch 22 that you have to spend money to make more money! In my case, it's more that I hate my job and want to do something different.

Great news on the payment, Tara!!! I'm glad you don't have to go thru the hassle of getting your money order refunded!:sunny:

Tara, that IS great news! I was stressing FOR you! :earseek::crazy2: What a relief for you to have that taken care of!

To all of you....Sorry I haven't been around much. For some reason my life has gotten very busy, and I'm not really making any OT!!! Speaking of which, I hope the new OT law doesn't affect me. I NEED the money for DCL cruises!!! I don't think it is going to effect me though!

I have to work tomorrow nite, so I won't be able to chat. :( Hope ya'll have a great chat and think about me!
