11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Don't know about some of you but since my son only has school 3 days the week following our cruise (Thanksgiving), we are staying!!! Jen, you may want to check that out. You may be able to add on a second vacation for a fraction of the cost (no additional air is needed). So, my sadness won't set in until November 26th and by then, we will be very ready to come home.

Good suggestion! My mom wants us to meet her in Myrtle Beach, SC on way back up to Va, but I don't know if I dare miss all that work (or the kids' school!). wow, i must be getting old and frumpy... Jeanna, remind me of your kid(s)' age(s)?...

Yup, Tracy, apparently those crabs (cancer) make good husbands. So far, (31 years) so good!

Thanks for the info, PoohJen. We are doing the FL to LA Panama cruise and plan to spend one day at Disneyland. (At least long enough for Sarah to add to her pin collection )

BTW, we'll probably head towards San Antonio after the cruise, spend Thanksgiving w/ my MIL. Of course, we'll have to go through Orlando, so thinking we may not leave the area until Monday.

Thank you everyone from DH!! It's so funny, when I showed him all the Happy Birthday greetings from everyone he just looked at me and said..."it's like you guys actually know eachother"...well duh...
It really does feel like we have known eachother for a while.

We had a nice day, went go-cart racing, went to see Spider Man2 and went to dinner at Bertucci's. Came home had cake and went swimming. It was a GREAT day!!

We have a new addition to our little family!!
Yesterday we got a kitten. Today she got checked out by the vet, and she is healthy!
She is very cute... All white!

The rest of the Gang is giving her the cold shoulder, but they will come around!!

I haven't been very good about checking out our thread on a regular basis. I just got back from a vacation at Wells Beach, Maine, so my next vacation is the cruise! I really can't wait...

Tracy, I think most of the DH's (except for John) are going to be very lost and confused when we cruise. John will be the only male in our bunch that has a clue as to who is who....LOL...it will be fun to sit back and watch

She is very cute! Our others are starting to get used to her now. They are past the swat and growl stage and are into the avoid and ignore stage....

Thanks Pat, I was using the link posted on this forum, knew I couldn't see it, but then realized I wasn't seeing ANYONE's counter, so thought it was jus me! - I'm working remotely w/ my laptop today, so figured it had something to do with how my wireless is configured. or something (like I'd know! lol).
