We have a little A&E fan in our party. I've been unable to get a FP until today. The catch? It's from 11:10 - 12:10pm. Getting DD to stay up this late will be a feat. Is the wait even long this late in the day? I grabbed it anyway but wondering if I should keep it.

Hard to say. I'd keep watching for an earlier time.

In terms of quality on the part of the cast members you won't have any problem.

We did ETWB at 11:45pm and Belle was superb. She was so lively and engaging even at that time of night.

I was amazed how vibrant and fresh she was with the slightly weary, small group of children. It was fantastic to see the true professionalism on Disney's part, they are the best and certainly employ some of the best in the industry.

I'm sure if you can't get an earlier time they will do their best to make the experience special for your daughter.

I'd take it and keep trying to upgrade the time. I was somewhere in the 10pm range when I got them and wound up with 12:30-1:30 pm. Just keep checking and you may have luck.

My daughter wouldn't last that long; she barely made it through Wishes. But I would keep trying to change it to an earlier time. You never know what could become available!

At that point there won't be a wait to see them. When we were there last week we got out of our 8:45 CRT and there was a 5 minute wait to see them.

Honestly, I thought my daughter would have been thrilled, but she was like "Eh". And the problem about using a Fast Pass that late is that you miss out on that fourth Fast Pass. And tbh, that was key in MK for us. It really cut down on waiting.

I'd keep looking. They could be the cutest or the worst pictures ever. It could also ruin 2 days for your family - that night and the next day.

Wishing you luck!

We had a late FP+ for A&E last June (planned late MK day) and the character interactions were superb. My son was grumpy about meeting princesses but the CM managing the line started singing to him (and the little girls in front of us were enchanted and sooo cute). Anna discussed shoes with my middle and Elsa asked about my oldests' magical powers that allowed her to grow to such fantastic height (she is 6'1"). Elsa even managed to get my son to smile. I had debated about skipping them but glad we kept it. Hopefully you will be able to snag a better time that works for you though:)

I saw A+E around 1.45am during late night EMH. There was no queue to see them (and this was the Saturday after Easter!). Had a fantastic interaction with them - think because it was so empty they could spend plenty of time with everyone (as opposed to when I'd met them at rope drop the previous day where Elsa sort of almost hurried me on, almost understandably as there was a huge queue behind me).

Would going back home for a nap in the afternoon/evening work at all? There was a family that I kept meeting during late night EMH who had done that and they said that it was one of the best decisions they'd made, as the lack of queues late at night was just amazing. (I'm assuming given the FP time that MK is open until at least 1am that day? If so the queues should be fairly nice and short!)

If your family is able to make it that late, you might as well use the FP+ for something else and just see them SB. There isn't likely to be a line that late at night.

I was in the same boat... Heres my opinion:
Keep the FP but keep trying to switch the times, check a few times a day.. Like anytime you get a break from work or free time between stuff.
I was able to get 2 overlapping times by doing this. I was only able to get one for myself and son not husband so only us two got to meet them. If your only looking for 2 the odds are decent. Join facebook groups for the month that you are going as well as A&E FP cancellation groups on this board, alot of people let theirs go when dining and other plans change and are more then happy to coordinate a release with you. Also don't give up hope, Disney released a bunch of times on a different day during my trip after I had secured my 2... I also benefited from a glitch in the system allowing me to pick 2 tier 1 rides on another day. So just keep trying.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Yes, I did consider going back to the hotel for a nap and keeping them out late. That may work.

Well I checked a few times today and was able to move it up an hour, to 10:10-11:10. Hopefully by stalking I will be able to move it up even more!
