A close friend of mine is FINALLY getting to go to WDW! She is a big Disney fan and has always wanted to go. Her DH went when he was a teenager and had always said it would be more fun to wait to go with their kids. Well, she has 3 kiddos -5, 3, 4 mos.- and was not about to wait until the littlest one is 8 to go (they decided they would take them when the baby is older and out of a stroller). Plus, she said since she has never gotten to experience WDW EVER, she wanted to do so without kids first. I think the fact that we go each year and I tell her about my trips helped as ammo for her DH in persuading him to give in. So this Spring he surprised her for Mother's Day and said, "Is it ok if we wait until Oct. to celebrate your Mom's Day present and our 10th anniversary?" And now they have their plane tickets and are booked for 6 days at POFQ!!! It worked out that our first school break is in Oct. and he could use some of his vacation time then.
ANYWAY....my questions are (since I'm her planning helper) can they still ask for anniversary perks when eating out when they go in Oct. even though their anniversary was last week? What else can I recommend to them to make the trip extra special as it is her 1st time there, celebration of their 10th, and their first REAL vacation in a long time????
THANKS!!!!!
