Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for letting me post with you guys. I've been lurking for about a week now and am looking forward to speaking with you. I'm essentially a Disney noob!

We are going in the end of August to Disney. By we, I mean me, my girlfriend of 5 years, her two sisters, our 2 best friends (a couple) and another guy. So 7 total.

My question to all of you is the following: Does anyone have a number for the Disney Engagement/Proposal hotline? I really want to do something special as I've decided this is the perfect time and place (We've never been on vacation together before- she comes from a very traditional Italian family) as she's a disney NUT (as am I!!!). That said, I really want it to be memorable and after all my researching I'm not sure my best bet is to do it with wishes. I want this to be her moment, not a moment shared with others, in case someone else has the same idea as I do. That said, we fell into a timeshare and are not staying on the Disney resort. So I know that limits some options.

So far, my planning has been the following:

I will have a GoPro Hero3 camera strapped to my chest at all times- I already told her this was because I want everything to be remembered on this trip and to get my POV on all the rides, etc. it also will play into the actual proposal, which will rock, as I get a POV of asking the question!

She loves little mermaid more than any other princess- however it seems that she takes a back seat to Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Cinderella.

Does anyone have a number? Thanks so much!!

Sorry but there is no Disney Engagement/Proposal hotline.

You would have to arrange anything yourself.

I think the one place that does something official is if you eat at Cinderella's Royal Table.

You can ask CMs on the day if they can help you with an idea but its only if they are willing and able to.

Thanks for the answer.. I was led to believe otherwise. Thanks.

Go to disneyflorist.com and click on 'engagements' they have some floral/gift arrangements as well as it will give you 'ideas' for your proposal. I know you can definitely have the gifts/floral delivered to your room but I think you 'may' be able to have them delivered inside the parks or at a restaurant, but I'm not sure so don't hold me to it if I'm wrong..:crazy2: I love the website, wish my DH went on it before he proposed actually ;) good luck!

Whoops. Hit send by accident. You should do something that's meaningful to the two of you, not what's meaningful to other people. If you and she like Ariel, then use the mermaid theme and don't worry that she isn't Cinderella or aurora or whoever. But it's a moment for you and her, so do what you want to do.

This company I have personally used and they were great with helping us set up something for a Birthday. Fill out the questionaire and put in Ariel as favorite character, and see what they respond to you with the ideas they can do.
If you don't like it, you don't have to use them!
Congratulations and Good Luck
