10d tenting it at FW with a 3 year old as a single parent. Have I lost my marbles?

Thankfully I have a SUV we can sleep in the back if the weather gets rough but I am crossing my fingers that we have sunny skies for most of our trip. I lived in Florida for seven years and remember early May seemed to not be too hot and kind of cool in the overnight hours (low 60's), whereas if I waited a few more weeks, the chance of rain and hot temps start creeping up.

Thanks for the pointer about reflectix. I've never used it before but that might be another thing to add to my list.
