I think a tag is the comments left under your avatar and the tag fairy is the magical entity that writes them. Can anyone confirm or deny?

This is the greatest mystery of the DIS!! I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the number of posts.. because I've seen DISers with thousands of posts and no tags... then I've seen DISers with a few hundred along with a colorful tag!

Hang out in the right forums.
Say something witty, funny, or quote-worthy!

If you figure the secret recipe out, let me know!

You are correct...it has nothing to do with the number of posts but rather being in the right place at the right time. The more threads you post on the better your chances will be.

The Tag Fairy is not single. Considering the large number of posts I've made over in the Adults and Singles forum in threads that tend to produce a lot of interesting quotes, I'm pretty confident that if the Tag Fairy was single, I'd have been tagged by now.
