My DH and I are going to WDW March 5-12. He owns a landscaping business, so this is his slow season. He really didn't want to go b/c of that, but I insisted b/c it's my last spring break (I'll be getting my master's in May!), he didn't want to go in May b/c he's busy then, and we don't want to go in the summer b/c of the heat and crowds... So anyway, this will be a tight budget trip! I've been saving every possible penny and it look like I'll have about $1000 to spend on food and shopping (I would rather not charge anything). We plan on eating some breakfasts in the room, and bringing PB&J for lunch some days. This sounds do-able, right? I figure no more than $100/day on food for both of us, esp if we're eating atleast one meal in the room, and we only use counter service. I only made 2 PS, one for Chef Mickey's (it won't be a WDW trip without going there!) and one for breakfast at Kona Cafe, DH's favorite is Tonga Toast! I've been to WDW many times, and I think it will work.. just was curious to hear what others have to say... TIA!
