$100 Disney Rewards Card

Can you use this card to book a disney vacation with the 0% for 6 months offer? I do not see that in the fine print and I know that is one of the perks of the regular disney visa.

Has anyone used this card to do that in the past?

I am not a DVC owner. I just used this link about 7 days ago, received the email confirmation about receiving the application that day, and I got my card in the mail today. When I called to activate it, I spoke to a real live person! She told me about the special vacation financing and asked if I knew about the rewards program. She also said I would be getting my $100 GC after I made my first purchase. She also told me what day my billing cycle ends, and asked if that day was OK. I bought $11 worth of stuff today. I plan to pay it off right away. We'll see how long it takes to get the gift card!

So there is hope... I applied on 7/22 and we don't leave for Florida until 8/17! Of course, I already have a Disney VISA, so we will see what happens, but I believe my account is actually in DH's name and I am the "send another card for" person!

I applied a few days ago. When I filled out the app it asked if we already had a card and I selected yes. We haven't gotten the new card yet, BUT when I logged onto my current Disney Visa card account online today, there was a NEW account linked to the current one.

SO - looks like you can have more than one. I can't wait to get it in the mail so I can use it right away and claim my $100 GC!! WEEEEEHOOOOO!!!

The one I received is a regular DisneyGift card not a rewards card so they follow the same expire rules as usual, which I'm thinking they do not expire

Thanks, I didn't know disney giftcards didn't expire; I am more familiar with the Reward Dollars.

Let me know how you make out. That is the same situation I am in. I am an authorized user on my DH's card. If you have more than one account number you can also get more than one picture at the Disney visa Meet & Greet in Epcot.

The card we got for signing up for the Disney Visa was a regular gft card with no expiration, however when you cash in points, it will be a different looking card, with an expiration date. DH found his the other day and in big letters it says expiration and the date that it expired.

Well, maybe only partial success. I applied for the visa on 7/22, got an email saying they'd be in touch within 15 days. The card arrived in the 8:30am mail on 7/29 . I activated it immediately and used it yesterday afternoon. SO... will the rewards card arrive before 8/16??? Our flight is at 6am on 8/17.

STAY TUNED I'll let you know when/if I get the $100 rewards card (oh, this'd be sooooo sweet!!!)

I figure, if the gift card doesn't arrive before I leave, I'll either keep it for the next trip (provided it doesn't expire) or use it for Christmas presents for nieces, nephew, and my dis-addicted sister and BIL (who is a part-time CM at SE!)

I received the card 8 days after applying so it doesn't take nearly as long as it says.

But the card does not have DVC embossed on it like it shows on the application. I wonder if it will still have the 100 gift card after first purchase feature.

Did anyone else get the card without the DVC logo?

I got mine yesterday 1 week after applying no DVC logo on it when I activated it he said I after my first purchase I would get the GF how much do you have to spend?

Mine doesn't have DVC embossed either, but when I activated it she said I would get the $100 giftcard. She seemed to think it would be a credit of reward dollars though instead of gc; not sure if it was just a misinformed CM.

Good to know, thanks. I have a card in my name and applied for this one in Hubbys name. I guess when he activates it we will be told the same. I did not want or need another CC but 100 is very hard to turn down.
