$100 a day?

I think 100 dollars a day is doable. I can see myself spending about that much for my upcoming trip, well because it is only the two of us after all. If all 4 members of my family were going I would of purchased the dining plan- huge savings that would of been. We have ressies for TS's for 3 days that we are vacationing but they are at Chef Mickey's for breakfast, LTT for dinner, and Ohana's for dinner as well. These are all pay one prize and greeze (lol) dinners so my money for food is pretty well set. If we decide to eat in the parks we will probably share our meals. I like Flametree Barbecue in AK and everyone knows their portions are big enough for 2 people. We will be purchasing the refillable mugs from AS Sports- that is another huge money saver there. My family isn't to big on souvernirs so not much will be spent on that, my pictures that I take are my souvies!! Good Luck and if you plan it right a hundred dollars will be fine!!!!!

Have you looked into the Dining Plan? Its AWESOME foodwise, it would run you about $80.00 a day.

Definitely also consider buying a refillable mug if you are a soda/coffee drinker (I am assuming you are staying onsite). For about the price of $1 a day (if you are staying 12 days) you could drink as much soda, hot chocolate and coffee as you want. This could save you money on drinks etc. Oh, and I think you are a llowed to bring your own water bottles into the parks but I'm not sure, someone will correct me if I'm wrong! :goodvibes

I sent you a PM. :) I have some documents I can email to you that I think will help.

i am chiming in on the "Doable" side of the fence. of course this is if you aren't thinking of park/event tickets coming out of there. if you are just talking daily food and souvies on that then yes, doable. some days you might splurge and go over that 100 and some days you could certainly stay under that 100, but it is a decent budget number.

that being said and taking into consideration that you posted in your OP that you were a conservative person when it comes to spending/money.

there are all sorts of ways to enjoy your time at WDW, get some nice souvies, eat well (not feel deprived at all) and stay within your $100/day for two people adverage. heck if i can do it for my family of 4, you should be able to do it for the two of you.

if you want suggesttions on how to stretch your dollar on food/drinks, ask and some of us more frugal Disers would be more than happy to list them off.
