10 yr old at Ca Grill on Deluxe DP

My DH, DS10 and I have reservations at Cali Grill for Dinner in Feb. My DS10 eats very little and would be just as happy ordering the steak from the childs menu. We will be on the DDP would they allow us to pay OOP for his kids meal and save his credits for a later time?
Any help would be appreciated. I hate to "waste" 2 credits when I know he will not eat enough to make it worth it.

They let us do the same thing this past Sept. for DD10.
