We're going to WDW over Christmas break. My daughter will turn 10 on Dec. 24. So we had to purchase adult dinig plans for both kids. (Son will be 12) My question is this, can they still order off the kids menu if they don't like anything on the regular menu. This will be a bigger issue for my daughter who is fairly picky. I'm looking at menus, getting ready to make our ADR's and other than the buffets, it's going to be tough. Thanks.

Are you sure you want to purchase the dining plan if both your kids are going to order off the kids menu?

They can order off the kids menu but you have to figure out if they do , are you going to be able to justify spending the $42.00 a day for them to eat?

We had this problem with DS. He would only order chicken fingers and burgers , so we always paid OOP, up until this year. We went over the numbers and unless he ate "grown-up" meals , it didn't justify us paying the adult price of the dining plan for him. Now at 12 yo , he finally eats steak, salmon and other adult items, so this is the first time in 2 years we are purchasing the dining plan because it finally makes sense.
