10 year anniversary. Worth going to DLP?

Hello everyone.

I wanted to get opinions on something. I know this is early but I like to think ahead. My wife and I's 10 year wedding anniversary will be in Dec. 2017. After 8 years of marriage, we've been to Europe twice and WDW 5 times, so we've been very fortunate. We would like to go Austria next on our list but we love Disney as well, so I was thinking about trying to combine both for our 10 year. We would be making the trip around school vacation (I'm a teacher), so it would be around Christmas/New Year's.

1. Would it be worth the extra money to try to either fly or take a train from maybe Vienna to take a couple of days to visit DLP? We will not have our kids with us so that will be easier. Being 'in the neighborhood', I would like to see DLP because who know how long it will be before we would get back over there?

2. Are the crowds at Christmas as bad at DLP as they are at WDW?

Just did a quick google and you can fly Vienna - Paris for about £85pp return, so its not overly expensive.

I've only visited at the beginning of December (it was so quiet!) so i'll let someone else answer about crowds.

If you a fan of Disney then go to DLP.
