10 ticket or 5 day hopper

Hi everybody! My dh and I are trying to plan a 5 day trip for December. I have been looking at prices for the resorts and tickets. There is a 50 dollar difference in the 5 day hoppers and the 10 day regular ticket (for the 2 of us). I want to buy the 10 day tickets for our 5 day trip and if we park hop we could just use another day of our 10 day pass.....and if we went back to the first park of the day we could still get back in if we had our hand stamped..... right? would this work? I don't think we would go to more than 2 parks on any given day. We also want to buy the dining plan but it seems from the pricing that the DDP goes by nights in the resort not days on the ticket. I think.

Nope, that won't work.

Disney has made it so the computer knows you've already used a day on your non-hopping park pass and it won't let you use another day to get into a different park.

Also, they don't do hand stamps anymore; they do finger scans instead.

For the dining plan, you'd have to buy a package through Disney which means you pay rack rates for the resort and at least one base ticket for each person in your party.

The only way to park hop is to have the park-hopper option or two completely separate park tickets for each person.

bummer oh well....it is only 50 dollars....would have been nice to have an extra 50 but it will not break the trip.

When do you plan on visiting disney?? The free dining promotion is Aug 20th - sept 30. And you can still book before the June 25th

We are going in December. I really like the cooler weather and the Christmas decorations are great then.
