So we're heading back to DL in just over a week. DS4 and DS7 in tow. We last visited in 2014 and were spoiled with a DVC 1 BR villa. We are veterans in both WDW and DL planning and we're pretty much all set. But with each bit of excitement we have a bit of anxiety. Maybe if we share we can decrease the anxiety levels just a rad:

10 things with pros and cons

1) Pro: DS4 is tall enough for almost everything. Con: No more rider swap.
2) Pro: Going off season - less crowds! Con: Is anything open these days?
3) Pro: 60th celebration - lights! Fireworks! Con: Celebrate! (bleh)
4) Pro: Staying in GCH! Con: The old, dirty, run down part (apparently)
5) Pro: DS4 wants to walk _everywhere_ Con: Until he gets tired. Take a stroller anyway?
6) Pro: February weather. Con: February Weather. Supercon: El Nino. Though looks to be dry?
7) Pro: Vons delivery. Con: No microwave, small fridge, no freezer.
8) Pro: Staying Friday - long park hours! Con: So how long can DS4 and DS7 last anyway?
9) Pro: Free Character Breakfast. Con: Kids don't eat a lot of breakfast. Yay for cash value!
10) Pro: We're going to Disneyland! Con: None.

love it!

#5 - yes I would definitely take a stroller for a 4 year old but that doesn't mean you have to push it all day. Park it in stroller parking and go back for it when you need it.

#8 - definitely take a midday break!!

Have fun!

1. I found rider swap to be time consuming. I think would be much nicer to just all go together! So no con! :)

Have fun!!

I agree about taking a stroller. Park it when you don't need it and then you'll have it for when the little one gets tired, and he will at some point! We had a stroller for my 3 and 5 year old grandkids. They didn't always use it, but we were sure glad we had them for when they got tired of walking!
