I think he forgot one of the best things that we sadly lost

The ORIGINAL Golden Horseshoe Review! Every time we went to Disneyland the very first thing my family did on both my Mom's side and Dad's of the family was head straight to the Review to make sure we had or reservations to see the show that day. I had a great time being the volunteer child at I believe two shows in all my many years of going and I loved it, even as sometimes I wondered why we couldn't go ride a ride.

I also miss the Country Bears both the standard show and the Christmas show, that was a terrible loss, especially for that awful Pooh psychedelic experience :confused3

And America Sings, that was the best place to hang out in the AC as a kid and I loved that some of the characters could have gone on to be on the muppet show with their "cool" 70's look hahaha!

I think I remember all of them...I guess that really shows I'm getting old. I enjoy seeing the Country Bears & Carousel of Progress at WDW MK.

all the times growing up watching the country bears we never videoed them, one year for whatever reason I videotaped the whole darned vacation show. at the end of the show they announced they would be closing their doors in mere weeks permanently. . . boy was I THRILLED something told me to vidoe away. ..

i miss the bears, when the rockets were on top and you had to take an elevator up above the people mover loading and unloading area to ride them. . . especially at night!!!! i miss the snoaring grizzy as you walked in bear country. . .

I also Miss the Country Bears, I wish my kids could see them. :sad1: Well without having to fly to Florida. :rolleyes1

Did you know that on the Pooh ride in Disneyland Max, Buff and Melvin are still hanging around? On the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride, after the Heffalumps and Woozles, look backwards and up. You'll see them on the wall above you.
