$10 Reservation Hold Fee

I called CRO/WDTC and was informed that all reservations for my upcoming trip will require a cc hold of $10. I asked for clarification to ensure that this was really all places and not just signature dining and character meals and was told this is for ALL reservations. I dont care because I dont double book and I am never a no show, but I am curious if I was correctly informed.

1) It is not a "hold" fee.
2) It is a no-show charge if not canceled timely.
3) Mainly for character and signature meals.
4) But, can be expanded during busy times at WDW discretion.

They dont bill you until you dont show up. I think it's a good thing. It may make it easier to get an ADR but there could be less walk up openings.
