10 Reasons I Hate the Mouse

1. I do not actually hate the Mouse. I love the Mouse! I just had to get you in here. I mean honestly, are any of you going to read just another Hi/Hello/New thread? Srsly.
   
2. Hi. Hello. New here. Well, new in the sense I finally got around to registering. Long time lurker, first...I mean...third time posting.
   
3. Sorry I tricked you. I am sure you clicked on this thread full of vim and verve ready to give me a good what for. Rather telling about you...isn't it?
   
4. So my favorite princess is Ariel because she is a redhead with Belle coming in a close second. Brains and beauty you know. But my real love is Tinker Bell. My daughter teases me all the time that I want to marry Tinker Bell. She's not still single...is she?
   
5. Favorite villain...let's see...Dr. Facilier. Magic, conniving and a certain savior-faire. I liked that he had someone to answer to as well. How easy would it be for any of us to fall victim to our own 'friends'?
   
6. Favorite Disney ride...probably a tie between The Haunted Mansion and The Pirates of the Caribbean. Even as an adult, I just can not get enough of these rides.
   
7. When I was younger, we lived in southern California. We would make it up to Disneyland once a year. After I graduated, I joined the Army and had not been back until 2009. I was sure I was not going to enjoy it as much as an adult. I mean, Disney is for kids. As soon as I stepped out onto Mainstreet, I was 8 again. Honestly, I think I want to go back more than my daughter does.
   
8. Our plan is to go out in late May of next year. I wish we could go every year. Still hoping for a winning lottery ticket.
   
9. I would love to stay at the Grand Californian just once. Again, still hoping for that lottery ticket.

OOOoooo I couldn't wait to get home from work and read this post. My dern computer at work is soooo slow. Man, I even stopped by Lowe's to pick up a flame thrower.

My fav character is Mr. Ray. DH 's fav is Tigger. DH and I are also addicts and we feed our addiction once or twice a year. If you want to stay at VGC what about renting from a DVC member? We don't have children but we love the mouse just the same.

You're pretty awesome! I'll play along!

1. Favorite Prince, it has to be the Beast. I cannot help it. There is something inside of me that loves to be needed (co-dependent...I know ). And despite all of his gruffness, he seems so sweet and innocent. I love that combination!
   
2. Favorite villain, Man from Bambi. For all our flaws, I still love human kind. Next favorite, it would have to be Captain Hook. I like that he is incompetent and rather funny to watch, because isn't that just how we hope all our villains will be?
   
3. Favorite Disney ride, it was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Favorite current Disney ride, like you, it's a toss up between The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. I could never get enough of either ride .
   
4. Yes, I agree about stepping onto Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. It is about dreams coming true, and mine do when I am there .
   
5. Our plan is to go this August. We try to go every August, but it is not always easy. I hear you on the lottery!
   
6. I would love to stay at one of the Deluxe Resorts in the Epcot area. My seven year old daughter and I always opt for more time at Disney World over a stay at a Deluxe Resort. When my sister and her husband join us, we do stay Deluxe, but they like the one-bedroom suites at Bay Lake Tower or Kidani Village. So I am still waiting for that Epcot resort area stay. Maybe one day soon...even if it is just for a couple of nights.

Well you pulled me in with that title

We're leaving in less than 2 weeks. A good tip is to join in on some of the May 2013 planning threads. It helps you get tips and ideas and meet some other Disers to plan with
I think there's one in the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies forum. It should be in one of the sub forums at the top ("Doing the Happy Dance" forum).

Also, if you haven't already, read some of the fabulous trip reports! It's a great way to pass a rainy/snowy/whatever day while you dream of your trip!

1) My favorite princess would have to be Ariel too! Her songs are so good and she is just cute and spunky. Plus I feel like I grew up with her.
2) My favorite prince would be Flynn Ryder. He is adorable!
3) My favorite villain would be Ursula. She is wicked.
4) My favorite disney ride is TSM. I know. Not an old one, but I can't get enough of that ride!! I love it more than my kids. Peter pan is a close second though. Well, and maybe Indiana Jones. That rocks too!
5) I have actually stayed at GC...not in a villa though. It was really nice. But honestly, my heart belongs at the Disneyland Hotel. I just love that hotel. The remodel is amazing. I hope your wish comes true and you get to stay at GC soon!
6) Good luck planing your trip for next May. We are leaving in 19 days for our first trip ever to WDW!!!! I can't wait.
7) And my dream is to someday be able to stay at either the BC or the Contemporary. One can dream, right!
