The extra money is for call screening, to block his calls and caller ID, so that if he uses another phone I can block it too.

This has been going off and on for months. I know it will continue for the foreseeable future.

I've thought about it, but I think this will be less trouble and it'll be nice to have caller ID anyway.

Caller ID is the best $7.00 a month I've ever spent! I can't believe I did without it for so long!

And for the "unknown name, unknown number" calls that display, if it's an emergency, my answering machine is always on!

We also have a free feature offered by our phone company (Verizon South) that will elimante anonymous callers. All you do is punch in star 77 (or something like that, it's been activated for so long on my phone, I don't remember anymore!) and the anonymous caller will hear a message that says "I'm sorry, the number you've dialed will not accept anonymous calls."

I know I've probably missed hearing about this but why is he calling you? Is he harrassing you?

He's calling me because he is angry at my husband. And always drunk. He wants me to tell him where my h is, he wants me to go out with him, he wants to visit, he wants to hear himself talk, he wants to complain about anything and everything, and really doesn't care if you reply or if he repeats himself a million times over.
I've tried to be nice, really I have, but the other night I really blew up at him on the fourth call, after hanging up on him all those other times. I told him never to call me again. He didn't call back, so far.

Him and his wife/exwife used to be friends of mine. For the last 11 years. some friends huh
