My DFTW is in TEN days! I am a nervous wreck! I'm so terrified it's going to rain! I would be crushed to have my wedding in some convention center. And these boards have started making me nervous. We couldn't afford an outside photographer so we're just doing good ol' Disney which I didn't worry about until I started reading the horror stories on here! And the stupid new system...we're off property the first few days and will turn in our AP vouchers so we have NO idea how FP will work the first few days of vacation until we check in to our onsite property a few days later and can make use of FP+. Even then, we don't want those stupid bands and don't know if we HAVE to have them since we have have FP+ selections. I'm even worried about stupid details like where to send our wedding license when it's done (since a family member is doing the ceremony.) The same address we mailed the first form to? Do we need to make copies before we send it back? On another note, MY wedding planner said using the limo to go to other resorts and park entrances and monorail for non-professional pictures was fine but someone else said that this is not allowed. I don't wanna go up to the monorail in my Cinderella dress only to be embarrassed in front of tons of people (it's the Christmas season after all) by saying "you can't be here." Gah! I was laid back this entire time and now I'm just freaking out thinking this whole thing will be a nightmare! Sorry this post is long, random, and completely unorganized. Thanks for reading and send me your calming, good thoughts!

First of all, congrats on having a wonderful wedding in 10 days :goodvibes

The magic bands aren't awful - I never actually wore mine around my wrist (I put it on the strap of my park bag instead). There's no law that says you can't find a creative way to carry it around. You may be able to use your APs instead of Magic Bands but don't quote me on that, I would definitely ask when you get the vouchers exchanged.

Yes there are Disney photography horror stories, but there really are some great ones too! Some of the pictures from Disney are beautiful.

Wishing you a wonderful wedding!

You're going to have a GREAT wedding! :grouphug:

The license should have the address on it or a pre-printed envelope that came with it, but you can also send it back to the same address it came from. You don't need to make copies.

There is no prohibition on wearing wedding attire anywhere at WDW except inside the parks. No one is going to tell you you can't get on the monorail. In fact, they'll probably cheer for you! :goodvibes

Breathe! :grouphug: It's going to be fine. You'll have a beautiful wedding day. And you will feel like a princess. pixiedust:
Congratulations. :)

Well...I jinxed it. 60% chance of rain for the big day. I'm just hoping and hoping and hoping that I can have it outside. All I need is that 15 minute window! To say I would be heartbroke if it was inside is an understatement. I'm not paying this money to get married in a convention center. That isn't the very spot I've been dreaming about saying 'I do' for the last 15 years of my life. That's not my wedding. Oh I'm just so nervous! It would be AWFUL! :worried:
