Ok. when I planned and booked this trip this past October, I could have probably bet my life with anyone that by today we would be completely organised, packed and ready to go.

We're not.

My head is spinning. I can't believe it's coming this fast now.

The crew:

DH ~ First trip to the south ever. He normally will do day trips close to home or in the same province but has never travelled far other than one other time to Vancouver for a wedding.

Me ~ Love to travel! I've been to Florida twice in the past and am anxious to go back.

DS8 ~ Has read his Disney book cover to cover about 5 times and believes he knows where everything is now. :)

DS12 ~ Hasn't really sunk in for him yet. I don't think he realizes we really are going.

Hubby's cousin is also coming with us. He has never gone anywhere away from this hometown. He is really excited and anxious to go.

I have the suitcases laid out, have bought what I believe to be all the essentials for the trip and have somewhat of a plan once we get there. I truly thought I would be much more organized than this.

Day 1 ~ Plane arrives in Orlando around noon. I'm thinking we should be on site around 2 (?). Not really sure how long it takes. Plan is to check in whenever they allow us to and to freshen up and head over to MK. we have dinner reservations for 7pm at the Palace. Winnie-the-Pooh and friends here we come!

Day 2 ~ AK for the day. Tickets to Cirque du Soleil at 6pm.

Day 3 ~ Have no idea where to go on this day. Just have to make sure we are back at MK for 8:50pm reservation at Chef Mickeys (I know it's late but that's all that was available. We'll have a late afternoon snack)

Day 4 ~ MGM. Dinner reservation at Primetime 50's

Day 5 ~ Beach day. (renting a car for a day) Dinner show ~ Hoop dee Doo at 7

Day 6 ~ Epcot. No reservations. We will go with the flow.

Day 7 ~ Reserved for favorites. Boys can decided which park/ride they enjoyed the most and we will try to do them.

Day 8 ~ departure day. Leaving in afternoon so we may take in a water park in the morning.

That's it so far. This planning is much harder than I thought.

I'll let everyone know if it actually happens as posted. :rotfl:
