We were in the World from 14 Feb until Sunday the 24th. We were on the dining plan. Crew was me, 40, DH, 39, DS 8, DD 6. We were staying at All Star Sports. Unless the kids meal was horrible or exceptional they won't be mentioned.

No food on the 14th as we arrived at 9PM.

2/15 CS Lunch at Pinocchio -Wow I was really impressed. DH and I had the Mediterrean salads and were so very happy. And those cannoli! We liked this so much we made a return visit later in our stay.

TS - Concourse Steakhouse - again another surprise winner. I had so wanted a CM ADR for this night but was unable to get it. Hubby and I both had steaks, me the tenderloin and him the chipotle ribeye. Both tender and flavorful. Service was spectacular. Our server advised us on a few items that he did not consider up to speed that evening and suggested alternatives. The alternatives (mashed potatoes instead of the bread salad on my tenderloin, and the ribeye over the prime rib that evening for my DH) wer so scrumptious. Can truly say we do not regret getting that CM ADR. As my DD says this was a Rocketship thumbs up!

2/16 - Sunshine Seasons for lunch - what a great variety and choices and quality, again we return here again because of the quality later in the week.

Askerhus - well we are very adventurous eaters. My DD 6 has been a sushi eater since she was 4. Just saying this to show we aren't adverse to different. We all enjoyed the cold bar. No one enjoyed their entree's I had the Klotj traditonal thing. Not tasty at all, and very dry. Hubby had the lamb and was not pleased either. Will find Princesses other places rather than return here.

2/17 Pizzafari - I guess I ahve to say I was pretty darn happy with most all of the CS we had this trip. DH and I both had the hot italian sandwhich and were quite happy with it. And the frozen lemonade what a great bargain as a dessert!

Boma - So wonderful. After our first round DH and I decided that we would just skip the meats and go back for all the great salads, and vegetables, and dips and soups! Such amazing flavors. A definite recommend here

2/18 - we lucked into a lunch reservation at Le Cellier which my DH surprised me with by asking for it. It was great! I had the seared salmon salad which was wonderful especially completed with the Unibroue Blanch de Chambly and hubby had the prime rib sandwhich which he finished off with the Trois Pistoles. They brougght my son a birthday mousse but he wanted his ice cream sundae so Mom and Dad got the yummy yummy mousse! Yeah for us!

Dinner was not as good. We were really looking forward to our dinner at Marrakesh. I am not sure if it is because of what you are limited to by the Dining Plan or the quality of the food or both but this didn't taste good service was ok, the only plus was the atmosphere, but that does not overcome the negatives to make me want to return.

2/19 Pizza Planet - Everyone had pizza and it was quite tasty.

Mama melrose - This was not good at all. I think the only good part of this restaurant was how spacious it is compared to most other Disney restaurants! We ordered the artisan bread and sips OOP, taty but not overly original. I had the pork marsala and the "mushroom risotto" which was nothing more than dry rice. Pork was ok, but not overly flavorlful. Hubby had the steak with gorgonzola. It was finished but not with vigor. Again would not come to this again.

2/20 - Pinocchio Haus again and same food again, it was good, why mess that up!

Spirit of Aloha. We were tier 2 and were fine with where we were. obviously better seats could be had but we weren't blocked, could see all the show and the food is the sae for everyone. Tier 2 is fine. Food was good, not fabulous, not bad. Kids loved it.

2/21 - Yak and Yeti CS - generous servings except when it came to the sauces. They could add more of that to each chinese takeout box. Also would ahve liked a little more mixing up of the dish. It was layered and very hard to get through the meat on top to the veggies or rice below. Dinner was CS at ASSp food court. I had a steak salad there that was quite tasty.

2/22 We had a fabulous lunch at Cooke's next to Raglan Road. If that is any indication of the quality of Raglan Road we will definitely try this place next time. Wonderful fish and chips, shrimp and chips, and scallops and chips.

Cinderella's Royal Table - This is definitely worth the two table service cresdits. The atmosphere was fantastic. The food was above average for the parks, and the show was just perfect. Defintely consider this if you haven't before. We were all smiling through the whole event.

2/23 - Sunshine Seasons again for lunch. Hoop De Doo we paid for this Tier 1 OOP. So worth it. What a great show, and wonderful family style food. It was so much fun to see the camp ground. Made for a perfect ending event on our last day.

2/24 - We finished our trip with brunch at 1900 PArk Fare. The character interaction was great. Low stress, easy pass through the whole area and a neat variety of characters. Food was quite good breakfast buffet food.

If you have any questions or want me to provide more detail please jsut ask.

I really enjoyed your reviews. :thumbsup2 DH and I loved the cannolli at Pinocchio Haus also! It was a nice sized dessert!!

Do you remember what you had at Yak & Yeti? I think we will try that CS next time we go!

I've been hearing such good things about Boma -- it seemed a little exotic for my tastes but I'm beginning to reconsider!

What are the limits with the dining plan? We are doing the basic one.

Great review. Agree with you about Boma's and Yak & Yetti CS. Thanks for posting.

My 18 yr old DD went to Cinderella's Table (she and her friend were the only "big girls" there :goodvibes They both said it was definitely worth the 2 table service credits. Try the MajorDomo pie--delish!:cloud9: :yay: :dance3:

On the menu there is a combo platter that sounded great but you can tell from the price that it is off limits. And after that there aren't too many other choices.

Also with no appetizer here that takes away from a lot of great dips.

Just felt extremely limited, and for the prices charged, no that great.
