10 days of dining for a party of 10! (8/15-8/24) **Upd. 5/27 Via Napoli

We were so excited to try Be Our Guest! We were lucky enough to score an ADR for our group.

We were seated almost immediately upon arriving.

Here is a shot from our table:

And that just happens to be our waiter, who was very good.

This passed by as we were waiting to order:

I started with this:

French Onion Soup - Topped with crouton and gruyere cheese $7.49
It was very tasty, and cheesy!

For my main course I had this:

Grilled Strip Steak - with garlic-herb butter and pommes frites $32.99
This was good. I subbed the macaroni for the fries. Everything was tasty. This was not the best steak I've ever had at Disney though. I remember it having more fat than I like to deal with.

DD5 had this:

Kids' Grilled Chicken Breast - with Macaroni topped with Marinara sauce and Mozzarella served with Seasonal Vegetables. $8.5
We got the macaroni plain without the sauce and cheese, and subbed fries for the veggies.
This is my picky child. She ate a few bites of chicken and the fries.

DD7 had this:

Mickey Meatloaf - Turkey Meatloaf with Broccoli Florets, Zucchini served with Orange "Stuff" for Dipping, and Fruit Cup. Choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani Water. Meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines for Complete Meals without substitution $8.99
She did not like this and ended up eating her sisters grilled chicken and macaroni.

DH ordered this:

Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops - Seasonal vegetables served in puff pastry with a creamy lobster sauce $25.99
He liked this and ate it all!

At the end we asked for some grey stuff!

It was tasty too!

I somehow missed everyone else's food and dessert here...

And he we are at the end with the beast:

They encouraged everyone to wait until they were finished eating before getting in line. We only had two families in front of us. Great character experience for us!

While I am glad we tried it here, I will probably stick to lunch. Dinner is so expensive if paying out of pocket. If we had free dining, or a TIW card that was accepted, I may consider it again! But you get the same atmosphere at lunch.

This day in Epcot everyone was on their own for lunch. We all like something different and wanted to eat in different countries.

DD7 wanted Mexico!
We chose this to share:

Nachos - corn tortilla chips with ground beef, nacho cheese, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos, black beans, and sour cream $9.99
I think we ate the whole thing! It hit the spot.
Seating here was limited though and we had to stalk for a table.

MIL had this:

Tacos de Carne - smoked beef brisket tacos served on fresh handmade corn tortillas with Pico de Gallo, lime and corn tortilla chips $11.99
It must have been good because she ate it all!

I would definitely return here for the nachos. Seating is on the lagoon and a nice break.

We chose a popsicle for dessert, so we didn't get it right away, rather had to return to the counter with our receipt when we were ready for it.

Bog our guest looks good BUT the biggest WOW is your beautiful family !!! You have a happy group of good looking peeps : )
Enjoying your review ... And following along

Although I didn't really want to eat at Mexico, I did...because that's where DD wanted to eat.

What I REALLLLLLLY wanted was Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles!

So we made our way around the countries and we stopped there.

Croissant Jambon Fromage - ham, cheese and bechamel in a croissant $4.75
(Incidentally, this can be ordered itself for snack on the DDP.)

Chaussons Aux Pommes - apple turnover $3.85

I love, love, love the Croissant here! It's warm with lots of cheese and so soft. Just how I like it. I will definitely order this again. (Although it is hard to choose once you get up to the case! There are so many good looking things!)

The apple thing---blah. I didn't like it at all. And I don't even think I finished it. It was pretty tasteless and I was disappointed I didn't get one of the other million things in the case.

Overall, great pick if you want something small or a quick, tasty, snack. The variety here was great.

This *might* be my favorite table service in Epcot. :confused3

I took some menu pics:

DD ordered this:

Spaghetti might be her favorite thing to eat. She ate it all!

I ordered this:

Carciofi Signature Pie - white pizza, artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil $Individual $19, Large $30 (serves 2 - 3), Mezzo Metro $41 (serves 3 - 5)
(If you are on the dining plan, you may choose the individual size as your entree and it counts.)

I.LOVE.THIS. This is my second time ordering this one and it was fabulous. My only small complaint would be the cheese does not go to the edge of the crust and it's slightly burnt. But it tasted GREAT!

DH ordered this:

Capriciossa - Signature Pie - eggplant, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms $21-Individual, $31-Large (serves 2 - 3), $41- Mezzo Metro (serves 3 - 5)

He loved his as well. I was hoping he would get one we could share. But...I don't like eggplant or mushrooms if I have a choice!

Here are some desserts. I know there was a mixup and somehow we ended up with extra Tiramisu!

This was the kid's cookie dessert.

Ruota di Carretto - vanilla gelato cookie sandwich $5.00

I was so stuffed full, but didn't hesitate to order the dessert that I was entitled too!

Zeppole di Caterina - Ricotta cheese fritters, served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce $10.00

Gelato Frizzante - ice cream sold "Italian style" with San Pellegrino Aranciata and vanilla gelato $10.00

Kid sundae

Coppa dii Brutti Ma Buon! - Amarena cherry and vanilla gelato sundae $14.00

Gelato e Sorbetto - vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, lemon sorbet $9.00

Everyone loved their dessert!
I can't wait to return here!
