10 day online check in!!

So I am at the ten day online check in date!! Woohoo! If I online check in, I should also call and make my building request? Last time we stayed in a non preferred Martinique, I think bldg 23. I am going to try and request the same:) wish me luck;)
Any other suggestions would be appreciated:)
 
Looks like we'll be there about the same time as you. We're there Oct 27th-Nov 4th, so online check in would be in about four more days for us. I'm not going to use it though. I go to WDW several times a year and have not had much luck getting my room requests when I did online check in and in fact several times have gotten the exact opposite of what I asked for. The last time I did online check in and then asked if another room closer to my request might be available, the CM got a little huffy and informed me that online check in was really for people who didn't care where their rooms were located and just wanted to get in and out quickly. She said they try to assign which ever room is available.

I always just have the CM add room requests at the same time I'm booking the reservation. For our upcoming CBR trip, it's printed on the email confirmation/invoice. I just went and copied it:

10/27/2012 HOTEL
CARIBBEAN BEACH- SWMCARIBBEAN BEACH-PREFERRED
PLEASE NOTE: REQ. MARTINQUE 26 OR 25/BURNS


I have no idea what the BURNS means though.:confused3 Anyway, if you haven't already had it added to your reservation, I just call now and have the CM add any requests.

Definitely call CRO and give them your requests. :thumbsup2 Once you arrive at CBR to check-in ask them if your requests have been granted. If not then ask if you can move to a room in the building you prefer. This might result in extra time to wait, but if there is anything they can do to make it happen they sure will try. :)
 
Called and put our bldg request in. I also did online check in. It said it was unable to do the request and to call cbr. So hopefully we will get our request but I won't be upset either way.
